We will fight for our rights! What we do in our bedrooms is our business!

Other people also have the right to disagree with your lifestyle and choice. To say that they don't is to be hypocritical. Religious people are opposed to homosexual lifestyle. Accept it and move on. You can't please everybody.

Good question. I am straight and have been married for 15 years. I feel that gay people should have the right to also enjoy the joys and responsibilites of marriage. I don't understand why people can't just let others be who they are. What you do in your bedroom is your own business. Let's worry about poverty, the war, the economy, child abuse, etc. You know things that REALLY matter.

Tolerance is a not a single headed arrow it is a double headed arrow. It goes both ways. Meaning people have to be tolerant of each other's beliefs regardless if you agree with them or not( as long as it doesn't involve violence). That goes for both Christians and non- Christians. I feel that Christians calling all gays or non-Christians evil can be just as harmful as them calling all Christians hateful bigots. It doesn't help to bring love and peace either way.

As a Christian I do not hate you or anyone else. I truely wish some on these threads who claim to be Christians would really study their Bibles and learn we are taught "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandments greater than these." Mark 12:30&31

And we wish more christians would be like you instead of the death cult members your religion is becoming associated with.

People have to be tolerant of each other's beliefs,if only they choose to do so. They don't always agree with each others views!
It is harmful to call others names, because of their sexuality or beliefs this is an Anti-American for sure!
To have love for others and peace sure helps! This is a plus!We sure do need more of this in our future!
Cheers!

"Sexual Orientation" codes undermine students’ deeply held religious convictions. Homosexual behavior is wrong (and illegal in some states), and is regarded as sinful by many students of various faiths and ethnic backgrounds.
Homosexual acts are unhealthy — especially for males. Like smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, they should be discouraged. Dangerous behavior that shortens a person’s life should never be promoted to impressionable students.
"Sexual Orientation" codes lead to escalating homosexual activism in schools.(This has happened in schools across the United States.)
"Sexual Orientation" codes undermine parental rights by enforcing a pro-"gay" orthodoxy in schools that overrides moral lessons and beliefs taught at home.
"Sexual Orientation" codes are used to discriminate — and propagandize — against students and groups (like the Boy Scouts) that oppose homosexuality.
"Sexual Orientation" codes may open schools up to lawsuits from parents whose children are misled into dangerous behavior.
"Sexual Orientation" codes draw more homosexual teachers to the schools in which they are enforced.
"Sexual Orientation" codes encourage homosexual teachers to be "gay" activists in the classroom, and to proudly discuss their homosexuality with students.
"Sexual Orientation" codes lead to the adoption of pro-homosexual curricula, such as pro-"gay marriage" lesson plans.
"Sexual Orientation" codes are used to justify the pro-"gay" indoctrination of very young children.(Homosexual activists aggressively defend their efforts to mold young minds, even in kindergarten.)
"Sexual Orientation" codes pave the way for pro-homosexual teacher and "diversity" training.
"Sexual Orientation" codes distort traditional civil rights by equating immoral, changeable behavior with racial, ethnic and religious tolerance.
"Sexual Orientation" codes encourage schoolchildren to embrace "gay," bisexual and "transgender" identities and then proudly share them with other students.
"Sexual Orientation" codes, once in place, are very difficult to remove.
Schools can protect all students from bullying through blanket protection policies that do not specify special criteria, groups or behaviors. Educators can make their schools safe for every student without promoting the acceptance of homosexuality.

[edit] Homosexuality in the Torah
The Torah, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, is the primary source for traditional Jewish views on homosexuality. It states:

"[A man] shall not lie with another man as [he would] with a woman, it is a toevah" (Leviticus 18:22).

"A man shall not lie with another man as he would with a woman; the two of them have done a toevah; they shall be put to death; their bloodguilt is upon them.

The term to'eva is usually translated as "abomination" and is used in the Bible to refer to a variety of forbidden acts including incest, idolatry, eating unclean animals, and economic injustice. In the context of sexual prohibitions, the word is also interpreted by the Talmud to be a contraction of the words תו&#15 06;ה את&#14 92; בה to'eh ata vah. According to this interpretation it means "You are wandering astray with it" since the Hebrew word to'e means "wandering", the Talmudically interpolated ata means "you", and vah means "with it."
