Tattoos on women are repulsive. The bigger the tattoo, the more skin it covers, the worse it is. Placement also makes a difference. I had the experience the other day of seeing a woman in a store and thinking she was very attractive. Then she turned and I saw that she had half her arm covered with a massive tattoo. She was instantly unattractive to me. Anecdotal evidence perhaps, but there is nothing less feminine, less attractive and more of a turn off than a woman with a tattoo, especially a large one. Also any piercings besides ears, and the massive gauged earlobe destroyers.

Completely repulsive, but I think they must not care about being attractive, which reflects that what's inside is bad as well. The original post, while not softly worded, is basically accurate. A woman with tattoos is not someone you're thinking about being your future wife and mother of your kids. It signifies that they're white trash, and/or someone who's an alcoholic, drug addict, stripper, or prostitute. It also shows that they're so shallow, trendy and sheep-like that they're willing to PERMANENTLY disfigure themselves to look "cool".

It says so many bad things about them that there are too many to list. It makes me very sad to see a YOUNG (barely out of high school) girl with a massive tattoo on her arm, leg, chest etc. She's ruined her appearance for life, out of some misguided attempt to follow trends. I've got news for you, in a couple of years it's not going to be cool anymore, and you're going to be stuck with a giant sign you can't remove that says "I'm a trend-following moron".

It makes you look like you crawled out of the gutter. Sorry for not mincing words, it really is starting to get out of hand.

I'm guessing the guys who made a fortune after the 90s doing TRAMP STAMP removal were running out of clients, so they needed a new batch. That probably explains the current boom.

Oh come on now, just having some ink doesn't make a girl cheapened trashy! I think it's more a matter of what kind of image, where it's located, how big and all that. Our oldest girl (14yo) got a small full color butterfly on the outside of her left ankle above the ankle bone, it's tasteful and is the kind of thing that's not going to look silly as she ages I don't think. Currently she doesn't want any more, for now anyway. She also wants to get in double pierced, but we told her she has to finish growing them before that happens LOL! And my wife has a one almost just like it on her left breast just above the nip which looks good, and is a great conversation starter when new people see it for the first time!:-)

Sorry pal, just calling it as I (and many others) see it. It's trashy. Some women just want a little bit of trashy to make themselves feel "cool" or "rebellious" (even though there's nothing rebellious about following trends. Some women go the whole nine yards. So yeah, there are varying degrees of trashiness. A really small tattoo in an inconspicuous area, or some sort of cute/feminine image is not the end of the world. But it seems more and more that women (especially young women) are going for full or half sleeves on their arm, tattoos on or near their breasts, down their leg, and so forth, and it's a massively unattractive turn off. Even sadder, it's permanent.

It's a form of personal disfigurement, almost like cutting yourself, except it's permanent. There are also some who are addicted to plastic surgery, but that's a quest for perfection. Tattoos are like putting a sign around your neck that says "I don't value myself, and you shouldn't either".

EDIT: above should have said "OF some sort of cute/feminie image". Anything other than an extremely tiny tattoo (smaller than a penny) is repulsive.

Update to my earlier post oldest girl (almost 15) talked her out of anything permanent, after the simple question; think back even a couple of years to what you thought was really cool, do you still think that's cool today? So if you put something on your skin which can't be removed, because you think it's cool now, what are you going to do a few years from now when you think dorky? But you can't get it removed without a lot of pain and money! So now she's using those temporary tattoos, they last a few weeks or come off right away with alcohol. She did the one she wanted first, color butterfly a couple of inches across on her left breast so the wing of the butterfly just shows from under her bikini top. If I catch her removing it because she doesn't like it any more, I will make my point what would you do if that had been permanent!

I actually don't like tattoos , however I don't agree that people with tattoos are bad. There was a time when tattoos were associated with rough trade, sailors, bikers, crims, strippers, ETC. Now days tattoos are a kind of fashion statement, and they have transcended their seedy past. all types of people have tattoos.

our daughter (now 15) wanted to get a tattoo of a butterfly on her left breast by the nip, rather than "forbid her" to do it (anybody with kids knows what effect that would have LOL) I pointed out that not only would it hurt like heck, but that in a few years after she continues to grow [enter breasts perhaps get a little bigger] it would look stretched out and distorted, and then it would be even more painful and expensive to have it removed plus that leaves a scar. So the hubby came up with a great idea, we suggested to her temp tats! We took her to a local Parlor that sells them, got a few different designs. I helped her put it on, the butterfly work where she wanted it on her breast, it came out beautifully! They last for several weeks, or ya can take them off with rubbing alcohol. We're selling her on the idea so that during the summer when we go to clothing optional areas, or if she's just that somebody's pool and wants to go topless at their house, she can have different artwork to show, she's going to put one down below her belly button, she's having a lot of fun with them now. And when the day comes she outgrows it, no harm done!

I often wonder if many of the people with tattoos plastered all over their body will still have tattoos covering much of their skin when they're in their fifties and beyond. I mean, they're turning their bodies into 'billboards'. I've never felt that I needed stuff like earrings and tattoos for extra attention. In all REALITY, it's kinda' ghetto to me.
David Beckham is a world class despite his tattoos

Tattoos are ugly and low class. When I see someone with sleeves I cross the street. If I meet a guy I like and realise he has tattoos, thats where it ends. They are trashy, and say a lot about your values. Women with tattoos are just trashy, slutty, dumb, cheap, etc. They might as well be men.
