Don't you mean COME HOME? Have you forgotten where you are? This makes your comments even more suspect.

This crime against humanity commited by war criminals and degenerates from usa must be over. It cannot be that usa massacres and murders people just as they want and wish. All these Afghans Taliban and not Taliban are civilians- they have rights to live in their country and no country has rights to massacre them. There are hundreds of tousends of victims, orphans, invalids produced by degenerates from usa and great britain and some other war criminals and genocides there, the whole country lies in ruins and it is time for war criminals from usa to think it over and stop to commit this apparent genocide and crime agaisnt humanity.

what a load of crap from the super race! The Taliban in Afghanistan would kill you in a flash, just for the fun of it. What are you prepared to do to stop their killings? You have no idea at all what you're talking about.

Wrong about lost. Iraq is done and won, to the degree that such a war can be "won." And our troops may be there in smaller numbers for a few more years, but if the American public wants them all out they can cause that...and Iraq need only ask us to leave completely, and we will. Afghanistan in the hands of the Taliban is hell on earth; if you cannot see what a threat that would be to the west, well, you're an idiot. On the other hand, "the west" means much more than the USA and others should give proportionately to the effort there and if they do not, we ought to leave. But a loser mentality like you is laughable: remember that marine in "Alien" who constantly moaned and quivered? That's you.

I see a lot of international comments here. It seems that many overseas don't know much about the American citizenry.

There are many here who oppose the war in Iraq. This opposition was a major factor in the last election and change of majority rule. But you would be hard pressed to find much of a percentage who oppose the war in Afghanistan.

The Taliban had a chance to hand over bin Ladin. They responded that he was a guest of their country. Too bad for them.

Hey, I don't like war. I would like to think that there are very few that like war. I may be a little naive in that belief. On the other hand, I admittedly despise some of the beliefs and tactics of the Taliban. Still, Afghanistan is a sovereign nation and I would have never thought of infringing on that sovereignty if they had turned over bin Laden. There is no place for bin Laden this side of the grave.

You want to do something in your own country? OK. But he crossed the line. Literally. I would like to think there is no safe place on the face of this earth for a man such as him. Whether it be Afghanistan or your country. What would you think if it were the leader of your country who granted him safe haven?

I agree not all of us want to be in war. And the main reason we're trying to get Bin Laden was for 9/11 if im not mistaken. I would hate to think that people from other countries would take Americans for all the same on going to war there. But not really.

I think almost none of us want to be at war. More accurately, almost none of us want to go to war. But we owe no apologies for being in Afghanistan.

I wouldn't excatly call Afghanistan a "soveriegn nation" when it was under the taliban regime. It may have been the folks in power and control, but A-Stan was not some normal soveriegn state...probably not far off in some similiraties like Somalia.

For everyone who has posted so far....stop the silliness, foolishness, and lies about all our troops there. We wouldn't be there if it wasn't for al-qaeda, bin laden, the taliban and 9/11 etc etc..We weren't there before until the awful events of 9/11 and the taliban allowing a safe haven/traiing ground for terrorists.

If A-Stan was completely in peace, completely developed, society functioning correctly, no terorists, etc etc...our troops would be home today!

AND those who say it is for oil....Why weren't we there before? AND any oil pipeline is part of A-Stan development/re-construction. Isn't that part of the reasons in A-Stan?...stop terrosrists, capture many(now all of you want them released in Gitmo!), and help develope the country???

Gid Bless all US troops there, Canadian troops and NATO!!
