has given the criminals more rights than the law abiding citizens, therefore I am sure the murder
rate in the state will skyrocket.
Any state that abolishes the death penalty is
telling the criminal element that it is ok to
murder someone, we are not going to execute you and maybe you can even plea bargain down to a
good finger slapping!

I'm sorry, how does that make sense? I am anti-dp folk, and last I knew no one in the forum argued against dp for religious reasons. Although it's definitely not what jebus would do, I would attack a religious anti-dp argument too, on principle.

Um, you just keep saying what every other person does, that there's a deterrent effect, even though all the reports finding such have been debunked or were faulty. You say that there is too much statistical minutia to keep an anti-deterrent effect study from being credible, yet somehow you think the same statistical problems wouldn't apply to a pro-deterrent study. You're a broken record. YOU still haven't answered to the hypocrisy of dp, nor have you commented on how, even if it were theoretically worthwhile or humane (not), how it has been used unfairly based on racial/socioeco. elements.

As for Mier Kahane, EU and US have banned several of those related orgs and deemed them terrorist. And screw Israel.

I never said that, you are confusing me with another poster. You've yet to present any anti-deterrent studies. All you said was that states with no death penalty have lowere crime rates, I pointed out that the majority of pro-death penalty states use it to rarely, less than ten times in 30 years, to move homicide rates one point.

If the death penalty were so racist there why have 60% of those executed in the past 30 years since the reinstatement of the death penalty been White?
Add to that the fact that homicide rates among blacks are higher and crimes by Blacks on whites are more common than whites on blacks.
Also, if Blacks are more likely to be put to death for crimes on whites then that is because these are usually predatory crimes-they are attacking people from outside their community in rape or robbery homicide-making them eligable for the death penalty.
