When I was a kid, I had a friend whose family was into Japan and the Japanese culture, etc, his uncle was married to a Japanese lady (she was killed by a drunk driver), and his uncle went to college in Japan, etc, and his uncle was into martial arts, and stuff. And one year they took me camping at Manzanar ( link... ), which was an internment camp for the Japanese-Americans during World War II.

The USA did not trust the Japanese-Americans during World War II, so the Japanese-Americans were put in internment camps. They were basically put into prison for no reason. It was interesting to camp where it all happened. Those Japanese-Americans were protected by our Constitution, and yet all of their rights were taken away. It is a sad black mark in American history.

As we look at the history of our nation we need to look at the whole history without filters, and we need to learn from it.
