i only looked at what i was turning into when i was in prison, when if you do one thing wrong you will get badly hurt by the officers, and if you do something good you got praised. i also had alot of time to think what i wanted to acheive out of life, and i was 17. i remember when in school there were 14 year olds already planning where they were going to be when they were 18/19.
and no body come up with the thought that it was due to bad parenting, i have read a few posts on here about how you treat your children, writing lines etc. my parents tried it its just i didnt give a crap because i wasnt at a state of maturity to understand everything around me that was going on.
i no something that is also to blame and that is the marketing/tv/media etc. all you ever heard about and still now is all of the bad in the world, and the media being pure evil about how they show gangs on tv to show how bad they are, and to show other people what type of circumstances these "gangsters" are in, to shed light etc.
its pure BULLS*IT, all the media wants is ratings, they dont care about these "gangsters", they dont care when they kill someone for no reason, they just care about ratings/money. and believe me, i have mates in gangs (not kiddy gangs) serious gangs and they love the attention they get. oh yea do you no why there in there, the real reason, because when they join they are given a position, if they mess up they will get beatings, not told to write lines on a paper saying i will not do this, they get beat up because it is a reminder that stays with you and a reminder of what is wrong (in gangland).
my belief is that kids when they go to far should be phsyically punished
