Cheating is NOT a white or a black thing. Women in general (black, white, and everything else) cheat because of many reasons. They might be unhappy in their current relationship. The person they are with cheated so they do it as well to get back at them. They might even be addicted to sex....which is a real problem and often needs therapy and medications.

I just can't believe someone would say that it's a race issue....that's stupid.

I dunno about all the fire and damnnation but cheating is wrong. I was just giving reasons why it happends sometimes. I'm in a relationship and if I wanted to cheat I wouldn't.....I would leave him 1st. Then I would persue my happiness elsewhere.

Yes, human beings are more likely to be serial monogamists. The divorce rate is generally about 50%, and infidelity rates are about the same. I know most guys have an obsession with a "hottie" whether if it's a beautiful women at work, at school, at the gym, at church, at the mall, the beach, etc. But I am a skeptic. I think to myself "Ok, so she is physicially beautiful, but what is she really like? What is the "catch"? Why is the divorce rate extremely high?"

Presumably, a lot of guys do get to score on the "hottie" they wanted and marry her. But they often get divorced. A guess the "hotie's" physical appearance just fades, and real communication issues or other marital factors come into place that overwhelm the mental image of what had been the perfect woman. The high divorce rate tells me that a good analogy for marriage is the Leadville 100 miles run in Colorado above 10,000 feet. Less than half the runners are able to finish the race successfully. Marriage is the same way for statistics - less than half are able to avoid divorce or infidelity. Marital burnout is the "norm."
