Based upon my response and your response, it appears we are on the same playing field then.
I don't believe everything I hear and see, but I may believe it to be probable. Free will will encompass that, and I think you will also agree to that. IMO, free will is developed into a more focused "way of life" by our consciousness, and as we age we adapt to it. Thus making choices we only "feel" [emotions] is true or false. Logic will dictate many things, this I will not object to, but sometimes, since we don't quite understand the way something works, the item shouldn't be totally discounted because of this.
A: Agreed if it is able to be imagined it is able to be realised within the contraints of what we know to be possible.
I don't know how old you are, but you may have seen some of the old 60s Star Trek TV series. If so, you'll notice the imaginations of Gene Roddenberry, thru sci-fi, created in many ways, through speculation - the origins of many of the technological devices we use today.
A: Yes I am aware of the inventions because of the imaginings of the writers, and cartoonists and engineers even Walt disney, Arthur Clarke etc had ideas that people drew from for our technology....
My point being is, just because it isn't real, one may believe in what they choose and their belief may become a reality. Gene's belief did? Why not the visitation of aliens?
A: Just because it can be imagined is not the reasons that it can exist in reality.... another species out there is as I said possible, but highly improbable, but another like minded intelligent mortal being, is possible...as we can see and percieve this reality......but in order to believe in a divine being we must not just imagine it to exist we must suspend our beliefs in all we know to be a real and move to the realm of magic....this makes it an impossibility.
Such a thing As for what type of life form that could be created elsewhere - I would also have to agree with you, in regards we are unique - we all are - even identical twins, triplets and whatever number of babies born in sequence. Unique in personality, possible ltr or dkr hair color, or other traits.
A: Yes but in that uniqueness you litterally see all the possibilies if you use science as the graph....it is in the DNA in your genetics if you like. then it is not so mysterious or strange to imagine a dark skinned child born to light skinned parents the mystery is explained....
What would make you think that another world would produce an identical life form as we? It wouldn't, due to the different environments that the planet would have. I'd also be inclined to say that, like our planet, where extra-terrestrial objects have struck the Earth, that did help in changing the environment of this planet - you'd find it also "there".
Our world is diverse - with many if not all - living things are different - in some way or another.
A: And by science, explainable, and if not now they are there to find futuristically now we have some of the codes.
I would also agree that another world would have those same characteristics, thus producing yet more different creatures or plant life (if applicable).
Cheers!
A: I can percieve that what humans are looking for on other planets are similar life forms to ours and that our perception might be imagined too much in the world of cartoons and books than reality , where it is more possible that the scientists view life on other planet as some minute insignificant creatures, but a life form9extra terestrial) none the less.....a sign of evolution in it's birth and early stages....which show sparks of life rather than the ideal of a full blown world like ours, perhaps.
Cheers.

The universe is expanding in every direction, with the objects at the edge moving the fastest this suggests that the universe began as a point which exploded its contents. The clutch confirmation of the Big Bang theory came in the mid-1960s, when the ultimate prediction of the Big Bang — that a background of blackbody radiation just a few degrees above absolute zero should permeate the entire Universe — was detected equally, omnidirectionally throughout the Universe. This radiation is everywhere, in all directions, and is as close to uniform as you’re likely to find in nature

Have you guys ever detected an equally, omnidirectionally throughout the Universe god ???

Perhaps you could share several of those facts showing what the buybull says is true. Of course there was a country called Egypt back then as well as the Roman society etc. so please don't use those as your examples. How about proof that water was turned into wine or a basket of fishes and loaves of bread fed thousands.

And just because someone purchases or prints a book does not make it true. Lots of copies of The Amazing Sppiderman have been printed and purchased but that does not make Spiderman any more true than your gawd.

"a sign of evolution in it's birth and early stages....which show sparks of life rather than the ideal of a full blown world like ours, perhaps."

Our planet is "young" as compared to life of many stars. Evolution could be in work on many different planets as we talk, all at different stages.

We speculate because we truly don't know. But neither are wrong.
This is how ideologies become realities.

Just like the Mars Rover missions. I can't imagine how many years this was in development, from a doodle on a pice of paper, but it just shows how much Science is involved, over any "illustirous god" playing a part.

Cheers!

Noone says it happened by accident but the conditions had to be just right for it to occur....
Your option is to believe that a divine presence is just there and is, that he can also create and destroy, that he has the power to pure jealousy and anger and that he created us in his image, the things stories and myths are made of from people who were desperate and uneducated in the things we know today are natural phenomenon and explainable ie nature can destroy the earth and crops at will as science has proven. Crops and pestilants can cause nations to starve as do man made wars. Catastrophe comes from nature, cyclones earthquakes tidal waves, volcano's erupting in an unstable mass we call earth....we will not fall of the world if we sail past a point...all this and more is explained in a rational and logical way that enables man to deal with the reality of this world......god doesn't make thunder by taking his boots off nor is the rain, the angels peeing.....this is the stuff of people who have not realised they have no control over thier crops or weather or famine if the atmospheric conditions are in chaos, or the plates are rubbing together etc.....I do appreciate there are people that are fragile and need life to have order for their lives to have meaning, so they choose to believe in some imaginary being to cope with these losses, failures and the finality of death and the loss of that someone they deeply loved. Religion or beliefs are necessary in youth to develope the imagination and instill in them the ability to think outside the box to invent and discover and explain their universe as it is. A great deal of people have not moved to the adult stage where those imaginings can lead to a healthy and rational dose of realism that is just as perfect and beatiful as any of that of an imaginary supernatural being can conjure. Live in the world you really live in(where you imagine there is no god) both mentally and spriritually and you WILL accept your weaknesses and failures as part of being human and mortal, you are fallible and weak and inventive and strong and your world makes sense when you see it as it is...with the sun and the stars and the universe uninhabited by mortals not gods.

I don't believe in all that. Nothing Anthropomorphic. God is the source of ALL. We are all evolving to become gods ourselves. No doubt it.

There are No Actual Atheists...
If there Were, then, they would Not write the date on the Top of School Work, Letters, Memo's, Legal Papers & etc., Because, Everyone Knows, that Dates were started when Jesus of Nazareth, Son of Mary & Joseph the Carpenter & raised in the Jewish Faith, was Born. You Can't get around That Fact. Get over the Rhetoric & Bashing people for Their Habits.. Stick to the Facts.
By the time people get to be Adults, they should Know Right from Wrong. There are Many who Don't & Choose to be That way. Pray for Them. Screaming, Cursing, using Foul Language & Condemning them, Only pushes them further into the Darkness.

Dates were implemented by man, not imaginary gods....Jesus never lived....so that is how much people are brain washed....see if you can find his birth certificate and try inviting him to dinner if you believe he still exists.....bet you any amount he won't turn up....better still hedge your bets, get every Christian to invite him to dinner....my money will still be on a no show....crazy girl....
