abortion is enjoying sex, then killing the baby. this is a crime.

if you like polygamy, then change your religion into muslim. men are allowed many wives.

gay marriage is just like straight marriage. there is no crime involved.

of course I prefer straight marriage. but there is nothing wrong with gay marriage either.

Obama and the rest of society can 'accept' homosexuality all they want, but when YOU stand before the Throne of Christ, neither Obama, nor anyone else will be their to defend the lifestyle of homosexuality that you REFUSED to let go of. Just keepin' it REAL.

Absolutely agree. There were multiple marriages, same sex marriages, all combinations before Christianity came along, stole the concept and pretended they'd invented it.

Just because some people believe in a particular god doesn't mean they get to decide who can marry, when they cant even show one bit of evidence for their beliefs.

If they think the word of they're god should be stuck to then fine for themselves, but they must remember the full line includes 'until death'

Therefore people who have a religious wedding should never ever be able to divorce. Then and only then will I consider that they actually truly believe the rubbish they're spouting.

What many believers don't get is that why should people who don't believe in the same god follow their god's rules when they themselves just pick and choose which bits they like or agree with.

Should you christians be made to follow the rules of the other religions too?!?

You are allowed you're own opinions, what you are not allowed to do is impose them on others. Freedom of and from Religion remember.
Although the americans haven't signed up to the human rights charters have they? Suprise suprise.
After all you still want to put minors to death and torture prisoners of war don't you. Very Christian. Preach love but practice hate.

Whats wrong with enjoying sex and not wanting children? It's certainly not a crime in my country.

Didn't your god create us with pleasure receptors.
If its a crime its your god who had committed it.

Simple if you don't agree with abortion don't have one. But you don't get to tell others what they can and cant do with their own bodies.

More worse than sin?

Haha. Your ignorance is showing.

Something is either worse or not. It cannot be MORE worse. Numpty.

Western civilization has been in peril for 2000 years but you godders haven't got us yet. If you want to go back to the bronze age go ahead. I like it here in the 21st century.

No man owns me pretending hes protecting me for his god. Ican earn money, I can inherit, I can have children or not, my choice. I am allowed to voice my beliefs without being burnt as a witch.

Civilization, education and reason will beat religions eventually.

Jesus died for everyone's sins, didn't he? If it is right for those people then it is right.
Why did God make Asexual's? As they can't, don't procreate what good are they? Can they go to heaven?

The United States Constitution serves as the law of the land for America and indicates the intent of our Founding Fathers. The Constitution forms a secular document, and nowhere does it appeal to God, Christianity, Jesus, or any supreme being.
(For those who think the date of the Constitution contradicts the last sentence, see note 1 at the end.
) The U.S. government derives from people (not God), as it clearly states in the preamble: "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union...." The omission of God in the Constitution did not come out of forgetfulness, but rather out of the Founding Fathers purposeful intentions to keep government separate from religion.

Although the Constitution does not include the phrase "Separation of Church & State," neither does it say "Freedom of religion." However, the Constitution implies both in the 1st Amendment. As to our freedoms, the 1st Amendment provides exclusionary wording:

Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Actually, polygamy is legal in most states, as long as you don't attempt to legally marry more than one spouse at a time. Only a few states criminalize so-called "spiritual marriages", the rest just say how many folk you want to live with is your own business. There will never be a legal right to plural relationships recognized by the government, because once you remove the limit of one legal spouse per person at a time, ANY limit would become arbitrary and unenforceable. The best those who support such relationships can hope for is an end to state laws that criminalize you shacking up with more than one "spouse" at a time.
