What about Christianity is not truth? Christ IS truth. Christ said " I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life".
Everything Christ showed us to do was the absolute perfect way of doing everything. No grey areas. No half way.
When Jesus said be kind to everyone, he ment just that. Not just those people who can return your favor. Not just those who are your family. Not just those who your wanting something from, or that can pay you.
Do Christians fail at this? Yes. We are not God, we are human and are prone to make mistakes. Yes we blow it, as for myself, on a daily basis. Instead of letting it be who we are, we turn to God for forgiveness and start over.
Wiether you choose to believe in God or not, I couldn't care less. However, you should be thankful for every Christian, and Jewish person there is on the face of this earth.
You want a dialog, I got lots to say. I pray my God lets me do it in a sincere and loving manner. You want to start name calling, it's over. Just because we are Christians, don't mean we are doormats. We are human too. Prone to the same mistakes, just we don't live in the past and dewell on what could have been, we look forward.

I am a believer but I do not agree with scaring someone into believing. Is that what your worried about? When you die? Worry about treating people the way Jesus did with love. The best way to handle a person who doesn't believe in God is with a firm hand-shake and a smile. This is what they will remember.

It would depend on how it was disproven. If it was disproven by lets say, another deity stepping in and saying "Christianity is false" then I guess christians would just follow that deity. Or if it was somehow disproven scientifically then I guess christians would say that well God created science so their one in the same. Its a tricky question and very hypothetical because I really dont see a valid way you could discredit a faith or present proof of it's unexistence, to a true believer, like myself, nothing short of a God figure telling me could convince me otherwise and that I guess defeats the purpose of the argument.

Very nice, your the first I seen state the truth about Christianity not being a religion. Christianity is a way of live, not a religion. Most people think of the Catholics as Christian, and it shows me how little they know about both the Christian way of life and the Catholic church.
The Catholics have "hijacked" Christianity, for lack of a better word. Christ is building HIS church on the true believers. So much in the Catholic church is directly opposed to the Bible, it shows me how people want to find God, but want todays method of "instant salvation". Just like you haven't enough time to sit with your family in the morning and have a cup of coffe, you'd rather hit Starbucks drive thru and drink coffee while driving to work, talking on the cell phone and cussing at people in your way because you want to drive 20 miles an hour over the speed limit, just so you can make that all mighty dollar.

Interesting--but Christ is here right now in you--not here or there.

I dont' believe that Christ is a fraud but I do believe churches and religions have used him and created fraud in his name.

Just like you teaching people to fear and be in terror of God. It is for God to convict not you--he does not give you the right to pass judgement and fear of him from you. You misrepresent God to make him out fearsome and not loving.

The Kingdom of God is in us and you do not "get it" or His meaning or Kingdom that is here now.

You are absolulty correct my friend. We are not to condemn or pass judgement. That is solely Gods domain. We can only tell them the truth. If they believe it or not, that is the work of the Holy Spirit. We are just the messengers.

Christ said none of it. The men who wrote the bible did. They were NOT Jesus or GOD.

I think many may turn to Judaism. If you believe in the god of the bible and you dont believe christ is the messiah, then it is not a far stretch.

However, I also think a large amount of people no matter what the proof is would keep believing, claiming everything to be a trick of satan.

Well their is a wacko down south who states he is anti-Christ who has followers. Who’s to say in 2000 years he is Jesus?

They were inspired by God. The fact that you don't believe makes you irrelevant in this subject because you do not know about it. The fact that you rush to write in every religious related forum proves your interest in God. And just where in my post am I judgeing or condemning people? Where have I even inspired fear in people using God's name.
The Bible states EVERY knee will bow. EVERYONE will stand before the Throne. You think that is trying to instill fear into people? Those are not my words, my friend. It was a STATEMENT of fact, and the truth.

isn't weird that all movies all explortions all media is aganist christianity. why noting aganist Islam, nothing aganist judaism, nothing aganist any other relgion. all the attacks only on christianity

Christianity - believing in the One True God is not a religion - it is a relationship. One that grows as you study the Bible, worship, and live out the faith that is within you. I have nothing to lose if, like some of you say there is no God. IF that is true, which I don't believe for one second, when I die, I will just turn back into dust; however if I and all other practicing Christians are correct, and Christ is returning, those who have chosen not to believe will find out that Hell and Satan are real! God will never force you into a relationship with Him - that is why He gave us free will. We all have it, none of us however, are free from the consequences of the choices we make within that free will. I will never push my faith on anyone, but I will continue to stand on the promises of the Bible, and the way that I see God working in my life and the lives of those I love everyday.
