...This should be no surprise to any of us. O'bama has no agenda, and he says things that the liberal press would allow no Republican to say.
...How very, very twisted and sexist - he ought to be ashamed.

Clearly, Obama said that “You can put lipstick on a pig …yet, it's still a pig”.
Lipstick is used only by women and the only women that Obama was relating to was the great American woman the smart and beautiful patriotic leader Sarah Palin who mentioned that she uses lipstick as a hockey mom.
This means that Barack Obama referred to Sarah Palin as a pig who uses lipstick.
According to the Islamic Quran pig is the worst insult as the most disgusting animal that is forbidden of eating. According to the Islamic Quran pig is used for insulting infidels and Jews because they are the enemies of the Islamic Allah and Islamic Prophet Mohammad.
Clearly, it is not surprising that the pig as an insult to enemy is used by Barack Obama who is a perfect Muslim as the Islamic terrorists regimes claim as he was born a Muslim to a Muslim father and as he studied the Islamic Quran in Madrassa in Indonesia.
What will happen if after winning the elections Barack Obama will denounce his faked Christianity and claim that he is a Muslim which he is now…?
What will happen to the national security of the American people if the Muslim Obama will connect with radical Islamic regimes of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia that support Islamic terrorists organizations…?

You're an idiot!!!
McCain and Palin are the sexists (trying to control what woman can do and say!) as well as they are playing the double standard card. The Daily Show showed clip after clip of the right wing brain-dead Sheeple talking about Hillary whining during the primaries about sexism, and their reaction was "if you can't play with the big boys, get out of the race!" Is Palin gonna whine about sexism when she's face to face with Putin? I'm assuming she'll be the one meeting with him since she is the "expert" on Russia due to Alaska's proximity to Russia. I guess she'll be the White House expert on Santa Claus too, since she also has that Alaska proximity to the North Pole thing going for her too!!!!

Obama's comments were a LOT funnier and less rude than most comments about the candidates on Topix.

Why the fuss?

I'm starting to wonder if conservatives have any intelligence at all. They certainly lack in reading comprehension. That saying is as old as the hills and was not directed at Sarah Palin (@ least directly), but if the shoe fits...

The Republicans want to refrain from bringing gender or religion into the debate? Why would they want that, they already opened that door with all the slander, inudendo and such about Obama being a muslim, the attacks on him because of what his former pastor said and the many snide remarks they have made about Hillary being unfit to be president because she is a woman.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Barack Obama accused the Clintons of being racist because Bill made a comment that the SC democratic primary wasn't indicative of national polls because both Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton had done well here, but went on to loose in most other states. The Obama's were "insulted" by that comparison.
But now he expects us to believe that his reference to "a pig in lipstick" was not directed toward Palin in spite of recent word association. If he had any dignity, he would have at least apologized for a lack of judgement in his wording.

It is hypacritical for McCain to complain about the comment since he has used it several times himself to descripe Clinton policies. McCain is overplaying the gender card...Quit your wining McCain.

Some of the above posters seem reality challenged, if not downright deluded. For the sane, this is what Obama said:

OBAMA: "Let's just list this for a second. John McCain says he's about change, too. Except -- and so I guess his whole angle is, "Watch out, George Bush, except for economic policy, health-care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy, and Karl Rove-style politics. We're really gonna shake things up in Washington." That's not change. That's just calling some -- the same thing, something different. But you know, you can -- you know, you can put lipstick on a pig; it's still a pig."

As you can clearly see, there was no reference to anyone but McCain.

Here's what Obama said today:

"Some of you may have -- I'm assuming you guys have heard this, watching the news. I'm talking about John McCain's economic politics, I say, "This is more of the same, you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig."

And suddenly they say, "Oh, you must be talking about the governor of Alaska."

[Laughter from audience]

See it would be funny, it would be funny except -- of course the news media all decided that that was the lead story yesterday. They'd much rather have the story -- this is the McCain campaign -- would much rather have the story about phony and foolish diversions than about the future.

This happens every election cycle. Every four years. This is what we do. We've got an energy crisis. We have an education system that is not working for too many of our children and making us less competitive. We have an economy that is creating hardship for families all across America. We've got two wars going on, veterans coming home not being cared for -- and this is what they want to talk about! this is what they want to spend two of the last 55 days talking about.

You know who ends up losing at the end of the day? It's not the Democratic candidate, It's not the republican candidate. It's you, the American people. because then we go another year or another four years or another eight years without addressing the issues that matter to you. Enough.

I don't care what they say about me, but I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies and phony outrage and swift-boat politics. Enough is enough."

So, how stupid does the GOP think we are?

he flipped the bird to Hillary.
He pretended to brush lint from his shoulder when dismissing Hillary.
He remarks about small town people.
He calls a female reporter "Sweetie"
He calls Palin a pig in lipstick!
For a smart man that SHOULD connect with ALL Americans - he is YET once again defending himself!
It was a cheap shot and one he can simply deny meaning what he said...
I for one am getting tired of him not meaning what he said!
He is crude, crass, uncouth, and LOW CLASS!
just like his followers!

So far all the "true" interviews I've seen of people who know and worked with Palin are positive. The nonsense of course you read on these forums I take with a grain of salt. But its amusing to read some of the lies people can make up. Sure does give the dem's a bad name.

The most telling thing about this episode will be the response from the McCain spin masters (I know it has started) as they work to generate meaningless one-liners for the minions to wail about on Fox and these forums.

Anyone with any intelligence and who actually hears the context and the addition of the fish in newspaper analogy knows that this had nothing to do with Sarah Palin.

The McCain strategy is borrowed, unfortunately, from the Clinton strategy of "throwing everything including the kitchen sink" at Obama. They want to distract everyone from the fact that they are, in fact, Republicans and that they have no real issues or vision for the country other than feeding the oil pig and keeping the rich and powerful rich and powerful.

This political season just took an ugly turn. I don't agree with all of Mr. Bush's or McCain's policies but I sure don't agree with anything that Obama has said.Com paring Mrs. Palin to a pig is a new low for anyone. Republican or Democrat. Has no business in politics. Stick to issues please!!!

It shows,Obama's remark, that he fears this women.Probably way more than he should. It also shows he is too sensitive to changing situations.

He thinks he had it in the bag,a great convention, high rhetoric, and then this palin comes on.In just a few days she dominates the news.Joe Biden who?? So Obama trys to strike back. Not with McCain ,but a white, mother, with family, and a likable story.

A classic example of anti black racism, that will be used against him.Black guy beating up on a white women!...brings OJ to mind ,subliminally.

Obama may have blew it. Its small things that Voters absorb.

The Republicans now have the club. They will beat Obama with it.Like Kerry with the swift boat,Dukakas with the tank thing, like Willie Horton, like all those failed democrat presidential hopefuls,Obama is in trouble..

To me it shows Obama is a light weight.Real men do not put them selves in a bout they cannot win, with a women.

He sends a team of muck rackers to Alaska to dig up dirt on this women.it an't gonna fly!

Obama is his worst own enemy. His elitist insensitivity will do him in.

If he runs the country like that,we will be in big trouble.

The emperor is now being seen as he is,a naked ,average, small ,politician.

Better we find out now than later!
