Your Just for you program needs some improvement. I purchased a loaf of Artisan bread that was supposed to be $.99. It rang up and I paid $1.49. The cheese singles that had a coupon in the sales flyer was not offered on line, forcing me to cut out the coupon to take to the store. I have had problems like this in the past. I was hoping by now, that you would have all the bugs worked out. If I wanted to still be cutting out coupons, I would be still shopping at Albertsons. I am taking my Just 4 U shopping list and my reciept to the store. I am also returning the bottle of A & W Root Beer that was supposed to be free, but cost me $2.19. I should be getting back $2.69 just from these errors.

Customer of Safeway;

The stores are well managed and are conserned with customer satisfaction. The just 4U is a progressive idea that, qualifies as useful to all purchases in the Safeway. I would like to see a way to tranfer any additional coupons to the card cut out from local publicaton. We can then dispose of sorting through those coupons in the store.
A simular way to dispense the customer reciept at regular check out like the self check out, would give the clerk less to deal with give the customer better access.

The Safeway Feedback Survey is a great way to give your opinion and maybe even win 1 of 5 $100 Gift Cards. The survey can be found herer http://www.onlinestoresurveys.com/2012/05/www... where you can rate your experience and check out a range of other surveys where you can win prizes.

I am a long-time admirer of the Safeway operation. I love the customer service and the well-stocked shelves. There is however, one thing that really bugs me: I do not understand why Safeway is alienating those of use that do not have all the high tech toys easily available...I do not own a smart phone, an Ipad, or a laptop. I cannot easily pick out the J4U specials and the in-store "computer" as it is difficult for me to see & use. There is not much online help for these applications.

I am now driving to another local store than does not exercise their customers and put them through all this nonsense.

Safeway is great about 95% of the time. 5% has some room for improvement, so here it is.
1. Often the plastic bags break before I get them in the house. This is due to two problems--the bagger puts items in that are too heavy---the bags are too small and thin and can't be used for anything else. Target's bags are bigger and better.
2. I'm asked to do a survey but then cannot find it where it tells me to go, like this one.
3. The clerks always ask if I found everything and when I tell them what was missing, there is no response or follow-up, so why ask.

It was SO NICE NOT to be asked if I wanted to donate to Safeway's charity. I donate to the charity of MY choice.

I have been shopping at at a Randall's which is owned by Safeway for 34 years. Can you imagine. The most helpful employees who go out of their way to help you. i do shop at other stores but my base shopping at least 3 times a week is at this store in the Woodlands, I hope somebody recognizes the importance of cuxtomer. service. This store gets an Aplus!!!

I gave the cashier $10 for a $9.99 order. He gave me my checkout slip and turned and walked away. Hey young man it is not for you to decide who gets my penny. Great attitude.

I shopped at Safeway today and since they kind of remodeled the store, I could not find the Onion Rings I was looking for. I asked a Clerk if he could direct me to where they were. He did not know and had to ask somebody else. Then he showed me the lpcation. I must say, I have not encounterd such an unfriendly person, No words, no smiles, -- nothing. I found that very unprofessional. I usually find that all the employees are very helpful and curtious, not this man.

Went to Safeway today becuse the ad said "organic strawberries,blueberries, blackberries and raspberries 2 for $6.00". Found the raspberries but organic strawberries, etc. could not be found even though I asked a couple of employees. If Safeway is going to advertise, don't hide the products you're advertising-very frustrating.
