Your Just for you program needs some improvement. I purchased a loaf of Artisan bread that was supposed to be $.99. It rang up and I paid $1.49. The cheese singles that had a coupon in the sales flyer was not offered on line, forcing me to cut out the coupon to take to the store. I have had problems like this in the past. I was hoping by now, that you would have all the bugs worked out. If I wanted to still be cutting out coupons, I would be still shopping at Albertsons. I am taking my Just 4 U shopping list and my reciept to the store. I am also returning the bottle of A & W Root Beer that was supposed to be free, but cost me $2.19. I should be getting back $2.69 just from these errors.

Customer of Safeway;
The stores are well managed and are conserned with customer satisfaction. The just 4U is a progressive idea that, qualifies as useful to all purchases in the Safeway. I would like to see a way to tranfer any additional coupons to the card cut out from local publicaton. We can then dispose of sorting through those coupons in the store. A simular way to dispense the customer reciept at regular check out like the self check out, would give the clerk less to deal with give the customer better access. |

I am a long-time admirer of the Safeway operation. I love the customer service and the well-stocked shelves. There is however, one thing that really bugs me: I do not understand why Safeway is alienating those of use that do not have all the high tech toys easily available...I do not own a smart phone, an Ipad, or a laptop. I cannot easily pick out the J4U specials and the in-store "computer" as it is difficult for me to see & use. There is not much online help for these applications.
I am now driving to another local store than does not exercise their customers and put them through all this nonsense. |
