You can post many many stories about animals.. All that you want, but no insulting, no bashing. Definitely NO POLITICS... Doesn't matter to kind of animal, feel free to discuss any animal you want. So what is your pet story?

I have two registered appaloosas. They were both born on my place. I do not ride them much anymore but, they are well fed. The vet says to well. One is called Inkie (registered as Jazzies Ink Spots), The other is Barney (registered as Bar No Hope), he had no spots.

Handsome animals. Always looking for a hand out.

Appaloosas were the breed of the Nez Perce Indians.

I also have a Chow. His name is Michio. He is a very demanding dog and he gets most of what he wants. No training, no desire but his own.

I can tell you a different story about him every day. Pure selfishness.

I may try one day to tell the story of a dog named Lady. She was not a Lady.

Since you enjoy horses, I think you like this site; go to youtube.com , type dressage in the search field, when there click on Andreas Helgstom. Absolutely amazing the things horse and rider can do!! Enjoy.

I use to go out riding with my friend on a Belgian horse. I rode Chip short for Sir Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough... He was very very handsome. My friend rode the other Belgian named Storm. Both very beautiful horses.

Belgian horse, now thats a fair sized animal. Didn't they used to be used as a war horse in Great Britain, or was it just as a draft horse?

They are big horses. Use to have to stand on the hood of my car to get on Chip.... Not sure on that one...

I did that and what I saw was nice. But, either my computer is slow (its only a year old), the modem or the telephone line I do not know. But they would prance for a little bit and then just pause and then they would prance and pause.

So it was not as good as it could have been.

This Chow we have grows a thick heavy winter coat. His hair loss is not to bad in the winter. But, he spends all summer loseing it. I brush him pretty regular to. This is August and in September it will start getting cooler. He seems to be loseing more now than in June and July. We have had a hot dry summer here this year. Lots of Fires. Ketchum Idaho a well known location is trying to burn up right now.

I wouldn't call it a pet story but I had some Kobe Steak the other day. Not worth the hype. Too fatty for my taste. Maybe in the Hamburger form...it would be better. I'll give those a try. Anybody else who tried Kobe steak?

Yes they are... Whenever I go to Busch Gardens I manage to spend many many hours watching them and just admiring their beauty.

Try Charlies Steakhouse if there is one by you. Very good place. Prices are a bit of a shocker, but the food is well worth it.

They are a joy, I have 5 cats and they are all hillarious. We have one that chases his tail, rolls around on the floor trying to get it, runs around like a crazy fool to try to get it, runs in circles trying to get it. He still hasn't figured out that it's attached to him and that wherever he goes it will follow. One day he might realize that but not anytime soon.
