Following the thought that autocracy, dictature etc. are an abuse to fellow citicens (a leader seen here as a 'normal person' just like all others) I establish and refer to the basic democratic thought to treat others, like one wants to be treated him/herself.
Non democratic rulers are in danger of abusing politics.
This (German language) Blog supports two other Blogs from floydcraig concerning the actual situation in Burma.

At Living in the Edge of Madness I posted a Blog to stop fertilizer abuse that causes algae bloom and excess duck-weed in our lakes and a request for support of my favorite non-profit agency child abuse treatment and prevention agency in our city as well as a non-profit self help organization for families dealing with sexual abuse.

At the Crones Daily Groan I posted a general over view of the need to be good stewards of the planet and its inhabitants with a particular plea tojoin in the fight to prevent child abuse.

This is a link to some badges with codes. It's not too late to put up a badge. Select the code and copy it. Paste it to a part of your blog page that accepts html.

Here's how to do it in Blogger. Choose "Manage Layout" from your Dashboard. Click on "Add a Page Element" and choose HTML/JavaScript. Paste the code in the box and save. You won't need to put in a title for your badge.

Some of these badges are not date specific. I plan to leave mine up for a while. Thanks again to all of you who are joining in the initiative to blog for hope and posting your links. I look forward to visiting all of your blogs!
