I've been working on my "Blogging for Hope" September 27 post. The specific topic I chose is a little off the 50th percentile, and I don't want to dilute the 'surprise' factor on Thursday.

I'm not a big fan of '[group] for [cause]' projects, but this one shows promise.

I'm with you on this Norski. I don't as a rule go in for cause events, because often I see no real point. But the thing that brought me in here is that most people involved seem to be talking in terms of increasing awareness of the resources that are available to help get people out of abusive situations.

Making people aware that there are abusive situations might make the participants feel good but would be unlikely to help. Making people aware of resources available to them they might mot have known about, well that's something worth doing!

Please - do you really think it is a good Idea just to be "against" abuse? I don'T - you have to say your "pro" for love and passion as well - that is what I would call "to have an opinion".
