Here is my opinion they are on a mission of search out and destroy.
Humans been doing it since the beginning of time.
Humans destroy what they fail to understand or see.
Mankind is born to be a hunter of others what is born in the bones
cannot be beat out of the flesh. It all a sign of the times according to
the book. So just be aware of that if you are different or unusural you can plan on being hunted, harrassed and stalked. It is all a part of their program coming from imbreeded teachings.

A salient point, which dove-tails with "being different or unusual" as you also point out. Some would just chalk it up as a "defence mechanism", yet aren't we supposed to function in logic and reason, beyond innate reactions?
For some it's nothing more than kicks and jollies, others seemingly so miserable with their "lot in life" that they must 'share' it with all in their path. A former poster from WSJLM aptly phrased it as this:

"Can lift self - pull others down"

Because high school bullies, even after they grow up they're still bullies – and then they buy computers.
Hello Dave, pleasure,

We seem to be living in an age where more and more become "stuck" in a "perpetual adolescence" , mentally and by extension in character. It seemed to have started in my (Boomer) generation, and continued in each successive , to one degree or another. I couldn't imagine my father , his brothers ,or their father carrying themselves the way many 'adults' do today, which for many would be "overgrown teenagers". There seemed to be a greater 'line of demarcation' between childhood, "teenager", and adulthood. Could be in part because what we now call a "teenager" was once considered a young adult, with adult responsibilities coming to the fore. The term didn't exist for them, nor was that period of life deemed "special".

Here's an interesting article on the subject:

A bully is just one who hasn't had his a$$ kicked yet, if he did and continues - he's insane.
