I have not watched fox, for some time in a very long time..... I am sooooo sick of politics and the Washington politicians.... The whole mess on both sides, are so Corrupt..... the Dems and Rep 's all in bed together... All I see is games in the White house, at our expense... And all the fat cats making a fortune off of it all.. Questions, I know we will never have the answers too... So much being swept under the rug.....
Tonight I was chanel surfing, and I stopped on the Hannity show... There was so shouting or yelling, so I decided to stay for a bit...
I was in awe and stunned,.. I heard two men having a conversation, and I heard the soft voice of a intelligent, well informed, sane man.!!!!! Wow was I Impressed...
We need a few more hundred, of these kinds of good men in Washington and we would have one heck of a government... He did not back down from any of the subjects.. and talked with clarity and common sense and intelligence.. I was truly impressed... This man had dignity and the facts... and he knew the truth, and was not afraid to share it.. In a modest way...
I hope people are listening?? There are people out there, that are for the American people and this county.. I then watched him ( Dr Carson) speak at the last Washington farce... The Presidential Prayer Breakfast, I am sure!!!!!! When He got done. They were so sorry, they invited him to speak.. He is very much his own man.... I watched Obama's body language. the whole time he was speaking, and he was not the least bit happy with Dr Carson.. This is a remarkable man!!! He spoke with deliberation and with grace, and he knew what he was saying... And he was well aware, that the Washington elites, were not going to pat him on the back.. He spoke in a soft, non threatening voice.... But was so very clear in his thoughts , words and his speech... He was wonderful and right on.... He is a surgeon, and know's the in's and outs of insurance and medicines... He stated the facts and made it clear, just what the problems really were.. and he made sense.... The voice of sanity is clear and easy to understand... No mumbo jumbo... He was wonderful to listen too.....
He did not shudder or stammer, but was very decisive in what he had say, and he nailed it... ALL the way around..
If you get a chance, to hear this man speak.. Please do your self a favor and do it... I was so enlightened by him and what he had to say... I want to hear more... I have heard he has written a book...
I just found this article on him... I thought I would share it with all those, who are open minded and receptive......
America the Beautiful - Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great - Ben Carson, MD
When you realize Ben Carson's unique background - that he grew up in poverty as an African American in the slums of Detroit and Boston; that his single Mom wisely motivated him to read as a pathway out of poverty; that reading gave him an insatiable appetite for learning; that he has been a union member; has managed a crew picking up trash on the highway and motivated them to the highest productivity; that he graduated from Yale in psychology and U of Michigan med school; that at age 33 he was named Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins; that he has experienced virtually every economic class in our society firsthand; that he is a prostate cancer survivor, that he has traveled the world over; that he is much in demand as a public speaker - you appreciate that this is an extremely intelligent and learned commentator who has lived life and has many insights to offer.

P2 Dr. Carson points out that many pinnacle nations including Egypt, Greece, Rome, Great Britain, France and Spain have declined. They all shared similarities; "an inordinate emphasis on sports and entertainment, a fixation with lifestyles of the rich and famous, political corruption, and the loss of a moral compass." "The question is, can we learn from the experience of those nations the preceded us and take corrective action, or must we inexorable follow the same self-destructive course?"

Dr. Carson is clearly a student of history, and much of his book traces the history and development of our nation. His thoughts about the thinking of the founding fathers are well supported with quotations. He draws fascinating parallels between the forces that led to the Boston Tea Party and the Tea Party movement today. Descriptions of his encounters with racism throughout his life, from the playground to Johns Hopkins, are revealing, and it is a testament to his education and character that he is not resentful.
He is a strong Christian, and it is revealing to read what happened when he was invited to give the keynote address at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast and was told that he should not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Early in life he dedicated himself to "achieve a first-class education in a second-class environment." He laments that "In the mid-twentieth century, however, a series of things began to happen that negatively impacted the quality of public education in the US." He devotes interesting chapters to capitalism, socialism and whether or not America is a moral nation.

In discussing racist thinking he tells of a TV interview when a reporter was asking African-Americans what they thought of Senator Obama's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate. He offers a fascinating approach to achieving a balanced budget and his "Saudi Arabian Solution" to the problem of doctors who bill fraudulently is profound. As a physician, his creative ideas about providing health insurance for everyone merit serious consideration. His description of his political thinking journey through 60 years of life is thought provoking.

Dr. Carson believes that "the generous freedoms we enjoy as a nation enable anyone to achieve their dreams and that this perhaps the greatest thing about America." However, he warns his readers that political correctness threatens to deprive us of freedom of speech and thought. He challenges his reader to consider what we believe in and in whom do we trust before it is too late for America. A highly recommended read for all voters before the next elections.

I hope you take the time to hear this man... And read his book.... He was a bright light, at the end of the tunnel for me... What a breath of fresh air....... My God there still is a voice of sanity out there in this country.. No politics behind him or big money interest... A man made man, a man of his own.......... This I admire and respect.... And would stand beside at anytime, any place....
