'Broken' Man and 'selling his belongings'?
What a load of BULL S..T designed to generate sympathy from the gullible masses in the lead up to his trial.
His supporters/legal 'team' are hopeful that by the time of his trial he will be widely regarded as a VICTIM and as such will be acquitted or at worst receive a token sentence.
Surely the S.A judiciary will see through this pathetic RUSE.

"Broken' man is a bit misleading and so is the idea that he needs money. Sure, he should sell some belongings, um he owns luxury cars, horse, investments etc. That doesn't mean he is destitute. His family is super super wealthy, his grandfather Hendrick and own 120 company - Read "City Press - They're Rolling in it" and thats amazing about Oscar Pistorius if you want to see a chart about how much money the Pistorius family has.
I think this sounds all a bit fishy, maybe just P.R? I think they are going to spin this loads to create public sympathy. It makes me feel sad to actually wonder if it can be cynical. And they even set up the idea that a fit of 'madness' made him do it...grounds for insanity plea, reduced time etc?
So if he is so suicidal and 'broken' is that why he is fighting so hard his bail limits. That seems more rational and calculated. Because he needs to drink, fly to other countries and probably compete again. Um, whatever! Like anyone would feel safe in his presence, even if he doesn't have a gun, imagine if he felt threatened or paranoid again. He takes off his blades and whacks you into the bathroom!!:-0

How refreshing to learn that someone else can see through a media (and MONEY) driven campaign carefully designed to present this over rated cripple as a VICTIM.

As Pistorius responded to the police officer who warned him that he would likely spend a long time in jail.... "I always win"..... ah yes, a paraplegic can be a narcississt too.... and a murderer.
