Descendents of Jesus?

If it were possible to perform DNA testing, tracking lineage back through time, if it could be proved that you were a direct bloodline descendent of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, would you want to know? It is known according to the priory of Psion that he had three children by his wife before he reached age 34, and it is believed that two of them were female. So it is quite likely there are distant progeny alive today.

I heard of this in Sunday school, not part of like the class but other kids were talking after. I think it could happen I don't know, I mean he was after all a man and like it said here his job was to find out what it was like to be all human. So I guess it could all of happened!

All of Christian tradition and teaching never said that Jesus had children. By Baptism we become adopted children of God and spiritual brothers and sisters with Jesus.

And now there is a bit of an ancient document found which talks about this very thing, carbon dating puts it in the correct time.– I don't know why so many people think it would be sacrilegious or sinful or wrong that Christ had a family during the missing years. He was out living life as a human! And since sex and marriage and child rearing are not sinful or wrong in any way, well it's just funny how people think I guess.

I heard that they had discovered a piece of papyrus, intact which dated and authenticated to the correct general era in time. The actual truth and documentation is probably in the Vatican archives somewhere.

Our pastor touched on this recently during two sermons, nothing is ever taught in biblical tradition but then certain evidence does exist not just the recent papyrus but other things, to support that yes he did marry and have children by Mary Magdalene – who was not a prostitute like a lot of people believe.
