Why don't you know God?
God knows you.
<quoted text>
You're right on all four counts.
I do have a relationship with God, just as Muslim or Deist might.
One in the same God, you know?
Oh....that's right.....you don't know God, that's why you're asking.
<quoted text>
You're admitting you're illiterate in scripture regarding the persona and nature of God. Don't give up searching and learning, it's worth the effort.
Whether your lack of knowledge and relationship with God makes you a bad person or not, possibly.
Then again, it may just be you are self-absorbed and lazy.
Get your priorities straight and decide what is most important in your life.
Then take action.
<quoted text>
That's your opinion.
<quoted text>
That's a subjective opinion and quite a stretch.
You are self-absorbed, aren't you.
Don't let your pride get in the way of reality.
<quoted text>
Again, more subjective, self-absorbed opinion.
Remember one thing, you aren't in the judge's seat.
No matter how important and special you think you are, others may not share that opinion.
You will serve somebody, make sure it's the right 'who'.
There's a lot riding on your deciision.
I don't know God because he never introduced himself to me. I, nor do you, KNOW that God knows me or anyone else. You're permitted to say "I believe God knows me." But you seem to be stating this as factual.

In you mind you "Have a relationship with God" You simply don't have a relationship with him/her/it based on reality.

Someone ponts out the immorality and evil nature of your God, and you cal them illiterate in scriptures? So in reading the bible we are to take absolutely non of it at face value? Is this what you're saying?

Lacking "Knowledge" and a "relationship with God? Knowledge involves FACTS and INFORMATION. Facts and information can only come from reality, so you have NO facts about your God, and No real information. You have no idea what its properties are, exactly where it can be found, and whats its attributes are. In fact, outside of the bible you have no information at all. We know the bible was written by men, a historical search will support that, so any description of God simply comes from men.

You post like a true hypocrite. Telling someone else about how important and special they are, when the one belief that is most important to you, the one you bandy about with pride, involves the ultimate in arrogance the trait of being unbelievably self-centered.

You believe that in this entire cosmos where all things either die or are destroyed, including suns, planetary systems, entire galaxies, that you among all else, are privileged to live forever. That somehow YOU are so special, that you alone and those who belong to your exclusive "club" get to live forever while the cosmos around you is subjected to entropy. Now Thats feeling important and VERY SPECIAL!!!

I believe that this life is but the first step in our cosmic Heavenly supernatural journey towards an undreampt of ultra-fabulous eternity.
You've just demonstrated to us why you CHOSE to believe in God. You're terribly frighten of death. You're afraid of the dark, your belief in this "cosmic heavenly supernatural journey" makes you feel so special and very comfortable with death. Its the reason most Theists try so hard to believe in God and an afterlife it all has to do with the fear of death. The unimaginable thought of YOU ceasing to exist. In order to do this you have to suspend all reason and logic, ignore medical science, and let your imagination take you to this "undreampt eternity" Much like children do when they make up imaginary worlds. Now THAT'S Really Confused!
Jesus IS God. God The Son, fully man and fully human.
<quoted text>
The Big Bang, I remember reading about that in The Bible.
How God brought an orderly universe out of primordial chaos.
"In the beginning.....Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
God saw how good the light was.
God then separated the light from the darkness."
You know The Big Bang Theory emanates from The Catholic Church?
Monsignor Georges Henri Joseph Édouard Lemaître was a Belgian priest, astronomer and professor of physics at the Catholic University of Leuven.
He was the first person to propose the theory of the expansion of the Universe.
Lemaître also proposed what became known as the Big Bang theory of the origin of the Universe,

Yes, you are right that what we do with life is entirely up to each one of us, God created us with free will.
So too is the outcome of your decisions, you are responsible for what you do.
What you do today leads to where you are tomorrow.
Make the right decision on what to do with your life.
Correct Jesus is God and God is Jesus, 2/3 of the holy trinity. So when jesus was sacrificed, it was really God sacrificing himself to himself. Since Gd knows all that will happen, he knew beforehand that he, Jesus, could never die. And of course he never did, or at least not for long. How is that any kind of sacrifice? He cheated, it was histories biggest hoax, and all you poor saps bought into it. Totally insanity!!!

This is true.
There are some atheist or agnostic persons that lead a moral, upright life without faith in God.
They are just like the wheat or flowers in the field, here today and gone tomorrow.
<quoted text>
You have mis-aimed grasshopper.
A sense of morality is in the majority of persons because God made us that way.
<quoted text>
Can you explain to me how life was generated from non-life in The Big Bang?
Here today, gone tomorrow, meaning exactly what?

Our sense of morality is partly a product of evolution. Cooperation, caring for one another, meant better success at hunting, protect for harm, division of labor, and tribal unity. There are NO moral absolutes, each society determines what is moral. Certainly the bible can never be used as a source for moral teachings, the immoralities present in the bible are to numerous to count.

"God made us that way?" Do you have...ok here's the word all you guys cringe over.......evidence that God made us? You don't even have verifiable evidence that the thing you believe in exists, and you would have us believe it created anything? State you're beliefs as just that, beliefs, Not as factual. It will make you seem less----------humm.....intelli gent is polite!!!!

It is a pity that those who have "outgrown" these fantasies are less likely to believe or have faith in the most important thing in this beginning life-The wonderful and complete feeling of "Christ in you"! Which will lead us out of these earthly bodies and transform us into bodies of light that will enable us to understand and experience ALL that God had originally intended for us.FOREVER!

How about everyone trying to make the best of things while respecting his neighbor's rights and while being ready to face the worst, have the best expectations.Do unto others what you would have them do unto you is still somthing to practice. God Almighty is aware of everything and that is all I need to know.

Gods thoughts are His alone and even though we have been given limited intelligence and a general knowledge of God, Do not try to fit God into your brain-He does not fit! For example; Do not try to put yourself in Gods place or to second guess Him.Put your trust in Him and be humbled before Him. Fear Him for He DOES have the final say and IS more powerful than you!Accept His Son- Jesus as your saviour (your link to Him,bridge to the eternal)and then turn from evil deeds and thoughts.God Bless those that find this helpfull.
