Ouch!! So very sorry to hear that. RIP.I can only imagine your great sense of loss. He was a wonderful guy here. Always a nice sense of humor, always supportive when the less than nice folks popped in.I have missed his presence and assumed he was "on a break". It's one thing when you think someone's out there someplace, quite another when he's not--ouch. RIP.

Good luck to you.

Why do we call it "daylight savings time"
when it's equally true that it's "night-dark losing time"?

When a crime is committed during the afternoon, why do newscasters insist on saying that it happened in "broad daylight"? I mean really, is there such a thing as narrow daylight? And when the crime happens at night, why don't they say it happened in "broad night-dark"?

If you have a dozen odds and ends on a table,
and 11 of them fall on the floor, what do you have left...
an odd or an end?

1. The proportion of light at the equator that is bottled for later use is greater than the night-dark residue from the previous day.

2.Most newscasters stagger out from taverns at 1700 in order to make the 1800 NEWS. The smash of sunlight is staggering, therefore broad.

3. Since it is number 12 it cannot be odd, therefor, even, or precarious.

Having just now read about Ex-Pitcher's passing, I can only say he was a great guy and someone whose commentary always fun to read.

I only wish I had seen this sooner.

Regrets, and rest in peace, sir.

It's been especially lonely here since the sad news. I check everyday and it's a boost to see you as a former fun player. Do you see any of the old crew on other sites ? Hope all is OK with you.

I can't believe you all are still at it. Sorry to hear about ex. I see the little troll is still active. You'd think he'd be tired of it by now.
