Welcome back. It's been a struggle here without the old gang. A few of us are hanging in even in the face of a...well, you know.

As to your question (of what seems to be a dying art)--a great question and I am so far out of the loop but as a guess I'll say Dave Cash.

Hiya, Joe. How have you been? Do you still have all your doggies? That's a good try to the question, but it's not Dave Cash. I'm sure Ex will know this one.:)

Is that you Ex? Things sure have changed around here. I was sure you'd know this one. I'll give another hint.

He played for the Indians too..

Shortstop / Second baseman
Cleveland Indians (1986–1988)

Only one I can come up with is Jay Bell ?
Don't recall him being a huge bunter though, so.....

You got it right. I don't remember his playing much. Those were the drought years when it was hard to watch an Indians or a Pirates game on TV. Now I can see them all on MLB TV.:)
