Is that the kind of thing you think a strong libertarian conservative candidate should say in a general election to motivate the base, bobin?

We're in DC this weekend and might see some history being made. The truckers are going to bog down the beltway, more than it already is, Fri through Sunday. And on Sunday they are asking for one million vets to come to the mall. If my husband wants to go we're going

An interesting article on what happens to a city once it becomes infested with illegal aliens...

Illegals Swarm In — Dallas Transformed

Not at all. In 1996, the apartment complex I moved into upon arrival in town (and lived in for 12 years) was a nice, middle-class complex nestled among beautiful homes in a North Dallas surrounding neighborhood. The residents were 85 percent white Americans. Today that complex is down to 10 percent white Americans, 10 percent black Americans, and 80 percent Mexicans, almost all illegals. And it’s uninhabitable.

This is not capitalism and “creative destruction” at work. This is ideological insanity at work. This is multiculturalist dogma hammered into our lives by the educational system for 40 years coupled with a federal government outrageously negligent as to one of its most fundamental duties – the protection of the nation’s borders.

“It gets worse everyday,” complains one local businessman.“I have owned a contracting business here for 25 years, and I can no longer find any employees that can speak English (nor do they have a desire to). Having been around them for the last ten years on a daily basis, they make no bones about it.”

Thank RINO Senators, McCain, Graham, Rubio and Flake for joining with the Democrats to try to bring this mess to every city in the USA.

Appearances matter, Hip and if you'd take just an objective gander at appearances, and if you can control yourself from being a run of the mill, Nathan Hale I only regret I have but one life to give to Obama, democrat for a minute and just be a plain old American, you might get it.
Putting up a piece of SCOTCH TAPE in front of the WW11 memorial would have been too much. It was a disgusting piece of theatre and I don't care how easily it was taken down. It was grossly offensive, it was wrenching and it was unnecessarily ordered by some goon in the OBAMA administration. Or maybe even the head goon.
What part of "government shutdown" do you not understand?

People never cease to amaze. All these extreme-right self-absorbed pseudo-anarchist tea-swillers have been chanting for 5 years now that government is bad, very bad, can't do nuthin right.

But shut it down for a couple of days and all of a sudden they can't wail loud enough for the loss of government facilities and services.

How's this for a disgusting piece of theater? Among the multiple piecemeal bits of the budget House Republicans have advanced is funding for the WIC program.

Soooo.... they're willing to pretend to care about a Women and Infant Children's wealth-redistribution program, while their ultimate goal is to prevent women and infant children from getting help to get insurance because it's "socialist".

Ain't that a pip?

I call him a worthless troll in here. But I went over to another thread he posts on and found out they call him the same thing over there.

He must'a bragged about being a "lawyer" over there too.

Oh, yeah.

No question about it.

Take Clementine for example. She may not agree with me, but she respects my views.

But you're free to reject my views, too.

It's still a free country, despite your guys' efforts.

You DO realize every time you post a disingenuous loaded diaper like this, yer credibility suffers.

Part of the Dem scheme to collect votes for the king's recoronation
was the so-called "war on women". And of course with the aide of the MSM, that strategem worked.

Knowing that worked for Obama, right now, Terry McAuliff (the
former DNC chairman), in his bid for governor of VA, is putting out false ads claiming Cuccinelli is tilting divorce settlements
AGAINST women, and other similar anti-women propaganda.

McAuliff is currently leading in the polls by 8 points over Cuccinelli. Gee whatta surprise. Dems will stop at NOTHING!

Now there's one helluvan ambulance chaser's stretch.

She knows you mostly from the other thread, and you jerked her chain to get her in here. Problem is, in here, you've been reduced
to a series of stupid humorless one-liners, incessant insults, and liberal grandstanding. Now these are things of which to truly be proud.

I ask again - why would I even ATTEMPT to explain the difference between the two voting blocks to someone who attributes 'the security of a husband' as a reason married women voted Republican?

Check your calendar, bobin - it's 2012, not 1980.

That doesn't even touch the 'single women voted for Obama because they want something from the government' nonsense. I mean, you're all but obligated to go there.

The difference in how married and single women vote may have been more pronounced in 2012, but a quick Google search turned up a 1983 column (allegedly) showing polling data conducted by the Reagan White House with similar results.

Some have struggled valiantly but vainly to represent the Republican's latest boondoggle as "representing their constituents." Just who are those constituents? Well, let's see....

10 days INTO the Republican gov't shutdown, hundreds of thousands of families, seniors, veterans, and active service personnel do without, with no end in sight, because one faction of one party of one branch of the US government want to legislate by hostage-taking. The suffering and anxiety of those in limbo are not enough to make them budge.

Meanwhile, 6 days AWAY from a gov't default, Wall Street, the Koch Bros, and other 1% elites have let Republicans know that a default MIGHT cause them to lose an odd million or two, and the Republicans are at this moment working late into the night to cut a deal.

Never mind the rhetoric, action speaks louder than words.

So, tell us again, please, just who are the constituency Republicans are committed to serve?

They already know the answer to this, and are still convinced there is a pot of gold at the end of that particular rainbow. This fantasy has been expertly advanced by the same folks who have shipped all the opportunities away from most of us, and purchased lock, stock, and barrel, by those who still see their wagons as being hitched to the old 'American Dream' star.

Meanwhile, the parents of those whose futures have melted away in the face of a rapidly dwindling set of opportunities, and a large influx of 'foreign labor' which competes for what little opportunity there still is,(and I'm not just discussing manual labor here - the majority of college-degreed individuals from other countries are not only NOT burdened with crippling debt, fresh out of college, but are fierce and successful competitors with American citizens in this one) are still swallowing the pablum the robber barons are feeding them, in the belief that 'hard work' and 'doing all the right things', is still the way to get ahead, rather than gaming the system, gouging the other guy, and stepping on a lot of necks (as the Robber Barons did).

How's that working out for their kids?

Just sayin.

Obviously, voter qualifications were not a requirement, nor will they ever be... case in point, obama and many Democrats got re-elected, even though they forced obamacare on voters that were overwhelmingly against it.
Poll taxes are unconstitutional. Are those your best examples?
I prefer the show us your picture I.D. method, so that poll watchers will know you're a citizen entitled to vote, and that you're voting in the proper location.
While a bunch of Americans are decidedly against 'Obama care', Texas, a bunch MORE Americans were 'overwhelmingly' FOR it.

Suck it up.
