Who can identify the author of this statement:

"The full consequences of a default by the United States--or even the serious prospect of a default--by the United States are impossible to predict and awesome to contemplate. Denigration of the full faith and credit of the United States would have substantial effects on the domestic financial markets and the value of the dollar in exchange markets."

Let the googling begin.

Everybody must watch this. Look what Obama is up to:

In a blockbuster documentary to be broadcast tonight, the Fox News Channel alleges that Obamacare is “little more than a thinly veiled scheme to force Americans to live longer.”

The documentary, called “The Ugly Truth About Obamacare,” claims that President Obama “is cynically using the health-care law to achieve his true objective: raising the life expectancy of Americans without their consent.”

“In America, how long you live has always been your own business,” says the documentary’s narrator, Sean Hannity.“Under Obamacare, though, it’s the government’s business—a government that wants you to live as long as humanly possible.”

The documentary lays out a nightmare scenario of Americans being saddled with sky-high life expectancies for years to come.

In perhaps the most chilling prediction of the documentary, Mr. Hannity warns,“If Obamacare goes into effect, Americans will be forced to live as long as people in Finland, Denmark, and other socialist countries.”

Speaking with reporters today, Mr. Hannity said he hoped that the documentary would be a “wake-up call about the secret agenda behind Obamacare.”

“President Obama is playing God with American lives,” Mr. Hannity said.“And if he stubbornly insists on making those lives longer, that could be grounds for impeachment.”

You're still clinging to his pants.
Rider was asking about the Zimmerman trial, you were asking me to comment on one party's claim during a divorce. I had lots of comments on the trial and it's evidence, I have no comment on a claim made by one of the people in the heat of a divorce. Sadly, you can't seem to understand the difference.

Again, you're a tad weak in the reading comprehension area, counselor.

Incompetent lawyers, and the simple fact that the prosecution couldn't come up with 'evidence' or eyewitnesses to convict an innocent man.
It was a baseless trial, held only to appease the obama administration, and the rest of the race hustlers... it never had a chance for a conviction, just harassment.

Don't worry Hip. At some point the middle-class will be gone. What was the American dream for many may very well go away for most. You do what you do, pretend you give a damn while in the same breath name calling and smearing while the nation burns. I really hope everyone that voted for this liar is oh so proud today. He did yesterday admit that yep, taxes have been raised. This after 2 years of bs, good chance the Obama voters don't know or care. And if by chance the government does get shut down blame is ready to go for the nearest person on the right.

Obama on Obamacare:“We did raise taxes on some things.”

"Some things" means uninsured families, med devices, flex accounts, small businesses, people with high medical bills and even charitable hospitals.

No worries.
This administration has 2 back-up plans for failure. One is to force it to work even if it sucks the life out of the country. And two is the:'it's too big to fail' program which works with federal dollars we don't have but Washington can borrow. Detroit is currently on the waiting list and bookies are now taking bets to see if bankrupt cities in California will follow.
Speaking of it:

Feds offer broke Detroit $100M to fight blight

http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/national...

So if history is a guide this $100 million will be pissed away and Detroit will be even worse of a pit?

You have a right to yer opinion same as anyone else, but I notice ya didn't refute anything Lyndi had posted. Why is that?

As for the rest, it's nothing new. The loyal opposition from either side is bound to make things difficult the best way they know how. Why should Obama or Obamacare or any other issue be different?

The 2200 page Obamacare law is likely to fail, and many want this new law to be implemented so that people will see that it never should've gone forward as it was currently written. Just another example of an inexperienced man at the helm, ramrodding it thru, so the great savior'd have a legacy. Ridiculous.

No one is doubting that HC needs to be reformed. But the right people need to be elected first, so that it CAN be reformed, and
done right, as it should've been the 1st time. That is, to take the best features from this law, get with all the knowledgeable professionals and number crunchers, and get the d@mn thing reworked for a much more reasonable price.
