Sorry to ruin your fantasy, but Cornwall pasties are a tasty food item.

<quoted text>
Germany, Russia, & China were never gonna support action against Syria. Vladimir even moved one of his carriers into the eastern Med. Obama should counter by putting one of our PT boats in the same vicinity.
One of our PT boats would never get that close to that carrier. One of the carrier's escort ships would "accidently" collide with the PT boat if it ever tried to get too close. I served on a destroyer with a lot of time spent in the Mediterranean‎, and that's how we handled Russian trawlers that would try to interfere with our operations, such as refueling, reloading ammo or if they were on a course that would bring them too close to our capital ships. We set a course that would cut the trawler in two if they didn't change course.

BTW, we never cut a Russian trawler in two, they got the message and responded accordingly.

Those trawlers were constantly following and monitoring our capital ships.

Course the PT Boat was only meant as a jest. But if Obama, did do something like that, it might put a smile on Putin's stony KGB mug.(Maybe even get a chuckle).

The Russians are sending a missile cruiser and an anti-submarine warfare ship into the Mediterranean. They've talked about deploying their only carrier to the Med, but not until the end of the year.

We're sending a second carrier (Truman) into the Arabian Sea and keeping another (Nimitz) on station in the Indian Ocean, along with (eventually) five destroyers in the Med.

Caveman Cruz.
I suppose that a Senator that wants to restart the economy, reduce joblessness, increase our energy independence, reduce government dependency, reduce voter fraud, and work within the scope of the Constitution and our laws, would be seen as problematic representation to "feel good" liberals such as yourself.

Unfortunately for you, Americans that hear his beliefs soon become supporters. When Ted Cruz first threw his hat into the Senate race, he was given a 2% chance of becoming Texas's Senator. He wound up beating our Lt. Governor, Dippy Dewhurst... who was thought to be the "heir apparent" to the seat,(much like Hillary was entitled to the Democratic Presidential nomination in the 2008 presidential race).
