What are you saying... Elvis isn't alive?

You could tell a customer "No, that item is not on sale, it's full price" or "I'M CLOSED--SEE MY REGISTER SIGN, IT SAYS 'CLOSED' DOESN'T IT" and they STILL won't believe you.
I, for one, believe that the birth certificate that obama has posted on the whitehouse.gov has been proven to be a complete fake, and a very bad fake at that. Why obama would post a bogus birth certificate, only he knows the answer to that.

It seems to me that an awful lot of people decided that there is something wrong with the Republican Party, even republicans. I don't understand that. Democrats lost twice to Bush and noone said there was something wrong with the democratic party. Now we know there were alot of surreptitious things that gave Obama an edge, targeting of conservative groups, targeting of conservative donors. There were also downright criminal activities, including voting several times for which one lady in cincinnati got 6 years in jail. Then there were the perfectly legal ways of pursuading voters like having polls open on Sunday and bussing congregants to the polls with just a little bug in their ear that they ought to vote for Obama. And yet Obama didn't win in a landslide.
Don't forget those folks that SantaBarry made dependent on the feds for their handouts. Obamaphone anyone? Foodstamps? Free obamacare? 20 years of unemployment or S.S Disability?

You have an obvious ax to grind with Obama. If there was anything to the possibility that his birth certificate was a fake, his opposition would have jumped all over his bowel movements long ago. It seems like you believe something that most of his opposition in Congress doesn't believe. While I speak this way, I am not exactly a supporter of Obama. I would be better categorized as being more opposed to his opposition.

The plane crashed in a field (not in a swamp) and disappeared.
That's the official story, although the parenthetical is my addition.
Is the FBI 'mean' and 'dumb' for including those aspects of the crash in the official reports?
Except it didn't disappear, Kat. That's where the wreckage came from.

I am not Obama's biggest booster, but doesn't that sound slightly exaggerated?

Not a bit... obamaphones, foodstamps, free obamacare, unemployment, S.S Disability... all increased significantly under obama.

I can provide many, many sites with graphics experts that can show the many discrepancies with barry's document... can you provide even ONE site that can disprove those discrepancies, proving that it's legit?

You're still trying imo to market a subject that doesn't have mass appeal. The "where was Obama REALLY born" and "the birth certificate he provided is fake" thing has been tried, tested, and put on every shelf for Americans to buy and it simply doesn't sell. It gathers dust, just sits there and even in fancy new packaging, you can't give it away. I think you could uncover a photograph of Obama's mother coming out of a Kenyan hospital carrying in her arms newborn baby Barry with a wristband on his arm identifying him and it wouldn't sell.

Look back at Clinton. The more that was uncovered about his antics right up to the eureka moment of "OMG, SHE SAVED THE BLUE DRESS!" the higher his likeability ratings rose. Perjury? Didn't matter. People liked him more and you'd have to ask a psychiatrist why that is but that's the way it played out.

The American people have been exposed and overexposed to the possibility he's not an American born citizen and they simply don't care. And you and Donald Trump and whoever else can keep trying to make people care by hammering away and looking for that silver bullet that's going to magically oust him from office and people still won't care. Besides, they'd despise you more for discovering it and love him more because you discovered it. Then what?

This birther thing is just another example I think of where the republican party errs. They latch onto subject matter which only gets applause and cheering from it's own supporters.
The secret to winning elections is simple.
You have to get the other side to applaud.

I know I would.
The fact is, things having happened 'in the past', doesn't mean they didn't happen, bob.

The further away from the event, the less chance the event has of being resolved with finality and to everyones satisfaction.

The "mysterious" deaths of JFK, Marilyn Monore, King Tut, Princess Diana, moving onto Roswell, the cause of hysteria that prompted the Salem Witch Trials, Nostradamus, Elvis is alive, the Apollo moon landing never happened, 9/11, The Boston Strangler, the Boston Massacre, The Lindbergh baby kidnapping and blah, blah blah- will all go on into infinity.
It's a never-ending whizzing contest and any lengthy or involved discussion of such subjects belongs on those topic specific forums.

What wreckage???

There was so little 'wreckage' after that crash, it all fit into a cardboard box the size of a small stove. And where did the passengers go?

No bodies were found.

None.

I find that very curious....

Thanks for your opinion...but I prefer to discuss these things with folks who aren't awake already. The more people who question the 'official story', the more likely it is that it will be at LEAST properly (read 'criminally') investigated. There are far too many coincidences. Having been consistently fed a diet of lies, cover-ups, and manipulation by the US government for decades, I'm of the opinion that the only thing which will reverse that trend is for a majority of us to consistently and unceasingly DEMAND honesty and forthrightness from our elected 'leaders'. This group (including me, by the bye) is all about demanding those things from Obama's administration - but I guess the 9/11 truthers are just equal opportunity demanders in that regard.

(Ha.'Demanders'. George W. Bush would have liked that one...)

The alternative to vigilance in this area, and never surrendering one's right to ask these questions UNTIL we get satisfactory answers, is to end either one's citizenship, or one's existence....and I'm not in a hurry to do either.

So be it then. Let me know when they get to the part where the 9/11 conspiracy was shared with Obama & Co. and he continued the worlds greatest ruse to his advantage by tracking down and killing a guy who had nothing to do with it.

Here's some appropriate music to go along with your quest.

"Social welfare organizations should work in the public interest -- not to divide, exploit, and conquer.
Last year, internal National Organization for Marriage (NOM) strategy documents were leaked, stating that the organization seeks "to drive a wedge between gays and blacks" by promoting "African American spokespeople for marriage," thus provoking same-sex marriage supporters into "denouncing these spokesmen and women as bigots," and "to interrupt the assimilation" of Latinos into "dominant Anglo culture" by making the stance against same-sex marriage "a key badge of Latino identity."

Does this sound like social welfare to you?

Social welfare organizations should work in the public interest -- not to divide, exploit, and conquer.

When I brought this up at the hearing today, Dr. Eastman, Chairman of the Board of NOM, angrily groused, "To say that defending traditional marriage doesn't qualify for defense of the public good is beyond preposterous."

To Dr. Eastman, I say that it is the denial of my constituents, and all Americans, the right to marry the person they love that is preposterous. To exploit racial and religious differences so you can fundraise for and enforce your specific worldview is preposterous.

But your right to be preposterous should not extend to taking political positions under the guise of a social welfare organization, raising money and campaigning.

We all agree the IRS was wrong to target specific groups. But political organizations like the National Organization for Marriage can't have it both ways. If they want to engage in politics, that is their right, and they should register accordingly. But NOM's mission couldn't be farther from promoting social welfare -- and looking at the polls and recent ballot box victories, citizens across the country are proving that they agree.

It's time we all stopped engaging in this preposterous charade and got down to the business of fixing this broken system." - Earl Blumenauer, US House Representative from Oregon.

I for one, am WHOLLY in favor of calling a spade a spade, and requiring political organizations to register as such, rather than as 'social welfare' organizations in the first place.

Frankly, the scenario you paint up there is not at all far-fetched, in my opinion. What's one more dead guy, after killing off several thousand, in an effort to pass the most anti-Constitutional legislation ever proposed??

Better to vaporize that guy, than to try, convict, and hang the former Pres, and then, by extension, himself. Eh?

And thanks. Good tunes always appreciated.

Michelle Obama Confronts Heckler at Fundraiser

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57587731/...
===

WASHINGTON First lady Michelle Obama threatened to leave a fundraiser Tuesday evening unless a protester quit interrupting her speech.

According to a pool report from a reporter who attended the event, an audience member started shouting in support of an executive order on gay rights halfway through Obama's remarks.

"One of the things I don't do well is this," the first lady said. According to a pool report of the event, she then left the lectern, moved toward the protester and said the person could either, quote, "listen to me or you can take the mic, but I'm leaving."

The Washington Post quotes witnesses as saying the first lady confronted the protester "eye-to-eye."

The New York Times reports Obama was about 12 minutes into her 20-minute speech at a home in Northwest Washington when a woman "at the front of a crowd of about 200 people began shouting for President Obama to issue an executive order barring federal contractors from discriminating against employees based on sexual orientation or gender identity."

The Times adds that, as she was escorted out, the protester shouted some more, at one point describing herself as a "lesbian looking for federal equality before I die."
According to the Times, GetEqual co-director Heather Cronk later identified the heckler as one of its activists, Ellen Sturtz.
In an interview, Sturtz told the Washington Post, that she was stunned by the first lady's response to her heckling.
"She came right down in my face," Sturtz told the Post. "I was taken aback."
=====

Good grief! She came right down to your face and you were taken aback?{GASP} Say it isn't so!
lol-
The 4+-% of your particular segment of society, ELLEN gets in other people's faces on a daily basis.
Now you know how we feel.

And ONCE more in a very short span, we've gotten around to "satisfactory answers". So I'll point out your dilemma ONCE more; exactly who's answers would'ja be ready to believe? How could you possibly know which answer-providing agency would provide the TRUTH? Pinky finger swear? Hand on Bible?

All the huffy print yer spreadin' may look good to you on paper, and yer kids will surely award ya a gold star in your workbook, but the results will be the same. F-U-T-I-L-E!
