That one's easy. They're dispensable. They're a dime a dozen and they can be replaced. Susan Rice doesn't have the value Hillary Clinton has which is precisely why Hillary Clinton didn't do the Sunday morning talk show circuit regarding Benghazi. Too risky for the heir to the throne to stick her neck out like that.
=====
Different topic but along the same creepy lines.
Do you know who outed the IRS story?
The IRS.
Do you know why I think they may have sprung their own scandal?
To perpetuate fear particularly among republicans all geared toward the 2014 elections.
Here's the scenario. The average American has a healthy fear of the IRS anyway. Everyone dreads the men in black suits ringing their doorbell and announcing an audit. No one messes with the IRS without losing sleep, most Americans take pains to do their taxes carefully because they ARE the political boogymen and they do strike a note of nervousness in most taxpayers. The taxman cometh and all that.
Now we have a situation where republican organizations, religious organizations, Tea Party organizations, conservative groups AND individuals have been targeted HARD. How do you think that will play to the public when it comes to writing a check or making a donation to the republican party when the 2014 campaigning begins? I'll tell you. It's going to make alot of people not write a check. It's going to make alot of people shake their heads "no" the next time their conservative candidate asks for a contribution. They have their families to consider, their jobs, a mortgage etc. and people who normally participate by send $$$'s will think twice because they don't want to wind up red flagged by the already scary and now even scarier ---> IRS.
How does that help liberals if contributions by republicans are way down? lol- It's a no-brainer.
It's called soft tyranny and it might be playing at a theater near you.
Happy Dreams, America!
You do know your entire 'IRS outs themselves' fantasy rests on the assumption that a majority of conservatives are cheating on their taxes.....right???

After all, if you've done nothing wrong, there's nothing to fear...

Go ahead and write that check, hon - but don't write it to Bachmann - at long last, she's stepping down.

Speaking of games.
While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming.
“So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said.“Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care if we Republicans run off the climate cliff like a bunch of proverbial lemmings and disgrace ourselves? I’ll tell you why. We’re stuck in this together. We are stuck in this together. When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesn’t just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas. It hits Rhode Island with floods and storms. It hits Oregon with acidified seas, it hits Montana with dying forests. So, like it or not, we’re in this together.”

With which part of "We're stuck in this together," do you disagree?

The Senators in Oklahoma BOTH voted against aid to Hurricane Sandy victims, so it seems obvious THEY don't buy that theory either
....but the Governor's got her hand out now, by cracky. Even lowered herself to greet the President, this time around....

And wasn't it adorable, when the Governor of Texas (another state whose Senators voted 'no' on aid for victims of Hurricane Sandy) stuck HIS hand out for aid after the poo-poo plant blew up... which was wholly the result of de-regulation and complacency in Texas???

(Sheldon got the 'wildfires in Texas' part wrong - there was nothing 'wild' about that one....completely human in origin, it was....)

Who is responsible for hacking the reporter? or is it plural? Man, the timing of that tornado is something, isn't it? Now barry has something Positive to scream about, and nobody can doubt his word. He'll use this tragedy to sweep everything under the rug, the way he has his whole tenure as president.
But the attack on the fourth estate is an unforgivable sin. The whole idea of a free press rides on how this is handled. If barry gets away with it, then the free flow of information is dead.
Now would be a good time to play The Doors''The End' Not the hard core version, but the studio cut.
There are folks who think the Oklahoma storms were generated BY the government, for that specific purpose.

(!!)

(Knowing that tornadoes have been a part of life for as many years as folks have lived here - especially at this time of year - I'm not going to give much credence to that one.)

You know something, folks, I am ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS. Four men, FOUR AMERICAN MEN DIED NEEDLESSLY AT THE HANDS OF TERRORISTS IN BENGHAZI, LIBYA. I want to know WHY. I want to know what the blazes the President of the United States and the Secretary of State were doing when they they knew--KNEW--this was happening and knew WHILE it was happening. I want to know why the President of the United States went off to play golf in Las Vegas when both he and Secretary of State should have been in the White House Situation Room from the moment they heard from the consulate that it was being attacked until the attack was done.
I want to know exactly WHY the Obama & Co. promoted the idiotic story that the attack was a spontaneous demonstration in response to a lame video. I want to know why that infamous talking points memo had to be revised TWELVE TIMES before Obama & Co. considered it sanitized enough to be released for public consumption. I want to know why, WHY did Hillary Clinton herself not go on those talk shows instead of sending an underling.
I want to know WHY when Ambassador Stevens requested extra security--an eminently reasonable request in such a high-risk area--his request was not just denied, but the security already in place was REDUCED :S I want to know WHY close-at-hand, well-equipped American troops who could have arrived to defend the consulate and its personnel within TWO HOURS were SPECIFICALLY ORDERED TO STAND DOWN.
And MOST OF ALL, I want to know WHY when these obvious, indeed necessary, questions are posed to ANYONE in Obama's administration, none of them knows a thing and liberals immediately fall on whoever is posing the questions like ravening wolves on a piece of meat.
I am NOT a Republican. I'm an Independent. And first and foremost I am an AMERICAN. I have every right to ask these questions, and I want them answered. And HOW DARE YOU claim that I or ANYONE else who wants to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth are the ones "politicizing" this tragedy. In doing that, YOU DISHONOR THE MEMORIES OF THOSE WHO DIED! You are saying that they counted for nothing outside of politics.
An American consulate was ATTACKED. That is NOT an ideological issue, but a cold, hard FACT. Don't any of you Obama-lovers care about that? Do you really idolize him so much that you're willing to overlook the fact that an ACT OF WAR took place on September 11, 2012 and four Americans died as a result?
Well,** I ** DO. And if YOU don't, I suggest you ask yourselves which do you love more: your Obama or America. Here's a newsflash: they are NOT one and the same.
I want to know WHY the twisted steel and other debris from the WTC, was immediately carted off to China for 'recycling' instead of being investigated as evidence in a crime scene.

I want to know WHY Tower 7 pancaked to the ground, having never been struck by a plane.

I want to know WHY thermolite explosive residue continues to be found in and around ground zero.

I want to know WHY the plane that 'hit the Pentagon' wasn't shot down out of the sky, and WHY the plane in the Pennsylvania field left so little debris that it appeared to have been vaporized.

I want to know WHY the American People have been fed bowl after bowl of steaming excrement, regarding the worst terrorist attack on US soil, and WHY we keep eating it as if it was manna from heaven, rather than hurling it back at those who continue to slather us with it.

But all that happened under a different Criminal in Chief, so....

Actually, I do miss it, sometimes. But there are MANY prettier parts of California. And this state has it's lovely scenery as well.

Redding has a population of 100,00, but I've been in one-dog-towns that had more to offer. this town has the worst bus system in the whole of north america, a 'downtown' that rolls up the sidealks at 6PM, not one decent bar, and everybody hates Natives. Including the cops.
So, why am I still here? Easy. I don't have the funds to move anywhere else. Someone once said of San Francisco, "I spent a year there one weekend.' Well, redding is worse. Yes I do know the difference between the two. Spent time in the bay area as well.

Most of this I won't bother with, its crap and nothing less. I will say that a Value Jet dc9 crashed in the Fl. everglades in May 96. Responders on the scene said that it was hard to find anything left. Depending on how a plane goes down that isn't uncommon to find little debris.

Not so much. I take issue with his hate to his fellow citizens saying "they are the polluters". I'm guessing that most of the left in this nation unless totally off the grid use power, use water, flush it down the drain. The FACT that while search and rescue was just on the scene helping people and this ass starts up with the usual, there is no excuse for it. He did say he was sorry the next day as this got much play on evil right wing stations coast to coast. Again not so much. The only thing he is sorry for is once again the left is shown the very things they claim, we are in it together, we have tolerance is a joke.

There are folks that think gov. agents planted bombs in New York in 2001. I still get a laugh when some claim no planes ever hit. The hologram one was the best! Its been some time since anyone has said that. Where is Van Jones?

"Why young people don't vote Republican..." might be a good topic for articles in publications other than these 'liberal rags'.

Anyone got a copy of a conservative paper's opinion on the subject?

I'd love to hear a cogent explanation of how young, college educated, people should rationalize the upward channeling of State and Federal dollars, with the downward-falling direction in numbers of well-compensated employment opportunities;

the ever-encroaching conservative interest in the bedrooms of private homes, and incessant attempts to legislate religious beliefs, with the idea of 'small government';

the decimation of the environment through deregulation and 'self-policing' practices, with 'prosperity';

the dichotomy between the interest rates paid by Federal student loan holders, and those paid by Wall Street Money Jugglers on bailouts;

and the socialization of risk with the privatization of profits....all of which are basic to the current Republican ideology,

and then come to the conclusion that the Republican party has any, much less workable, solutions, to any of the problems with which this demographic is currently struggling.

I really would.

Unfortunately for the Bush narrative, there was no 'convenient swamp' in Pennsylvania, in which to disappear a commercial jet... it was an open, freaking, FIELD.

I will, thanks. Pop flew planes for 49 years. You don't need a swamp when one goes down at 500 plus miles an hour. But carry on with bashing Bush. I just listened to a hack blame Bush because a new study say folks aren't happy. Lol.
