<quoted text>You're putting your DESIRE for something to have been done (or done wrong) so far beyond our actual capabilities that it's not funny, especially the ease with which you dismiss the threat of SAMs, but I'll play along.
Was there a fighter squadron at Sig (there usually isn't)? What was its ready status (time required to launch)? How were the planes configured and armed, and (if necessary) how long would it take them to be ready for the mission you're tasking them with? What provisions had been made for refueling, if necessary? What intel did we have on SAMs among the militias active in Libya? What intel did we have on the relative positions of the good guys and bad guys (assuming the most positive arrangement of all the questions before, the most critical question of all)?
You have answers to those questions, bob - or is all you've got "well, we're good and we got good stuff and we shoulda done something" going for you?
Without answers to those questions, bob, you might as well re-fight the Battle of Midway or better penetrate the airspace around Hanoi during Rolling Thunder.
These links may answer some of your questions. I read all 5 of them, considered the source and went from there.

Thanks, but I wasn't THAT dedicated. If I had been, I'd have finished and posted all that two weeks ago.
Who said anything about revoking Soros' freedom of speech? I'm gonna say this one more time--and if anyone else on the thread thinks it's meant for them, then it probably is.
That string of posts is NOT meant as a jumping-off point for debating policy(ies). As you said, Kat, for that I could have been typing non-stop for days, and I haven't the slightest inclination to do that. My purpose in all those posts was ONLY to demonstrate the ties between Obama and Soros. Make of the information what you will :)
Given my unwillingness to spend three non-stop days typing, not to mention the countless hours of necessary research, I don't know this for a stone fact - but I'm relatively certain that a detailed synopsis of the Koch Brothers' political agenda, and efforts in the political spectrum, would be a stark indication of their hand in glove associations with Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, not to mention with the American Legislative Exchange Council...and I am exceptionally opposed to the efforts of THAT worthy body... which seems to be setting policy for Republican candidates across the nation.

Are the Koch Bros. spending billions of $$ to change America to their vision of a secular-progressive socialist country? SOROS is!

I see this post of yours has already garnered two Clueless, one Nuts and one Spam icons. I'm not surprised. Obviously, Hip, you didn't bother to actually READ what those organizations do and stand for.
Some of them actually do work I not only agree with, but even admire. I admire efforts to get people registered to vote who never would have voted before, for instance. And being the fair, honorable, trustworthy (and modest) person I am, where those organizations do work that I can support, I was honor-bound to include them. I am not the kind of person who would deliberately omit information simply because it did not support my case. Hip, you've seriously disappointed me. By now you should know me better than that.
By the way, that post you addressed to me a couple of weeks ago, similar to this one--I plan to address that in the next couple of days, hopefully tomorrow.
Those judgits must have come from your cohort.

Don't be silly, bad bob.

OK, hope everybody is happy. We're stuck with one another here for our allotted time on earth, so we might as well try to make the most of it. We should all try to be friendly.:)

I read what you posted about a few of the organizations I was familiar with, including the NAACP and SPLC.

The descriptions of them you posted are about as accurate as a description of the Family Research Council written by the most militant atheist gay organization that you can think of - and you've probably been told about one or two of those that are particularly dangerous.

With that in mind, I think it's perfectly appropriate that you claim the judicons as an indication of the value of your list.

No bob, they do not HAVE a vision of a secular-progressive socialist country...their vision is comprised of oligarcical and exclusionary aspirations...and, yes, they are spending BILLIONS of dollars, to influence elections... and plenty of political clout too, in the formation and furtherance of ALEC.

With all the rehearsing and filming, do you suppose the actors playing Tony, McGee, Ziva and Abby ever have concussions?
I love the whole bunch of 'em :) I can't believe I only started watching this show over the last couple of years! I should have started on it from the series premiere.
They have hours of reruns of NCIS on the USA and SLEUTH networks, and I watch the show a lot. Like you, I only started watching it a couple of years ago. Even with several cast changes, a real killer for some shows, the quality of the show has stayed the same.

Do you even realize that Christians have killed a 250 million people in the name of their lord? That they tortured numerous people to enforce their ideas?
What I think is most detrimental about Christianity is that it actually diminishes peoples happiness in stead of promoting it. It paints a gloomy picture of the world, a dark world in which Jesus is the only glimmer of light, called hope. Not even hope for a happy life on earth, but only in the afterlife. Is is thoroughly negative, but presented as a happy tiding for the desperate.
I want no hope for happiness in another life, I want happiness in this life! And the all other religions offer that, only Christianity denies that. Or as Jesus says: in this world there is only tribulation.
Now Jesus finest words: 1) Love God and love your neighbor as yourself
2) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
These are no invention of Jesus at all but rather basic rules of ethics in all religions. It is in fact a shameless copy of the words of Rabbi Hillel the Elder (110BCE-10CE). Who summarized the Tora in the same way when asked if he could recite the whole Tora. He said: I can do that standing on one leg. When he was challenged, he used these words. "What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow: this is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn"
It is basic ethics not even higher ethics. And it is spoiled by the rest of what Jesus says. For in the remainder it becomes clear that Jesus does not consider those who reject him "neighbours", but puts them on the shooting list.(No they don't tell the common people that, only their murderous "elite")
Christianity is ethically speaking a low grade religion. But because it is spread by people who are totally self-convinced and brainwashed into thinking they speak Gods word, even with Gods spirit in, them there is no room for self-inquiry.
We have seen the power of book indoctrination recently. Hitler used "Mein Kampf", Mao his "Red Book". It creates totally convinced people prepared to kill the enemies of the ideology in huge numbers. That is what Christianity is above all, a brainwash in an ideology. It does not need Jesus to be God, but it makes it even more powerful to have Divine legitimation. Christianity is the mother of all dehumanizing ideologies.
People cling to it, because they are programmed to it from day one. That is what makes it such an evil invention. It has nothing to do with the Divine or any God. It is a Roman instrument of mob control and therefore the favourite ideology of western empires ever since.
I agree.

Good job, although it was just a cut and paste, and not your own work....why can't you try and post as cogently as this "Mark" fellow?

I have a strong feeling you could, but you've decided to play the idiot in this race. And you've geared your persona away from creating enticement to read your original content.

Very confusing.
