Like I pointed out yesterday but you evidently ignored or perhaps you were far to busy brushing up on your hate.
More white men are arrested for dealing cocaine but receive far less time in prison when convicted than their Black counter parts..
Why do you think that is Lyndi?
How about you stop with changing the subject because my question made you uncomfortable?
Here. Let's try this again.

"Did you know there are more black men in prison now than were enslaved in 1850?

Maybe your party should do something about that.
You have their vote. What's the problem?"

<quoted text>You're right Chris - that's MUCH more heinous than Limbaugh exhorting Sandra Fluke to have sex on camera, so he can watch, and thereby make him feel better about 'paying for her birth control.' The right is beneficent, magnanimous, and misunderstood, and the left are simply demons in human skin.
And here I thought you weren't "humor challenged"... this makes me wonder. Did you think Rush's comment was serious... do you really think anyone would really want to watch Ms Fluke perform? From my experience, Rush Limbaugh purposely makes these type of comments to piss off the looney left, and get them to report them as if the statement was actually serious... which makes them look super silly to their own viewers. You're aligning yourself with some very serious kooks... "Mr Ed" Shultz, Rachael "Madcow", Chris "tingle up my leg" Matthews...

Only the ones who can vote for a democrat.

"A new study by the Minnesota Majority found that at least 341 convicted felons in heavily Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul who voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race. And it looks quite likely that felons gave Franken his narrow Senate victory."

I am I sure of what? How does what you stated relate to my remarks?
I think FOX and Clear Channel Communications are just as destructive as those that color news events/reality to the other way.
People who listen primarilly to one or the other (left or right) are pretty much goofballs and a 15 minute conversation with either pretty much proves it.
Thats its bs? I would bet if Obama thought he could get away with it he would shut down foxnews right now. I thank God,(the one that the dnc in Charlotte, Nc, last Aug showed nothing but disdain for) it has not happened here. I have friends from other parts of the world where our freedoms don't exist.

I think at this stage Chris it's safe to assume that the liberal party has forgone the pretense of being the party of tolerance. They are the FORWARD party, dubbed as such by none other than our Commander in Chief. And if that doesn't make your antennae twitch, it should.
The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.
There have been at least two radical-left publications named "Vorwaerts" ( German for "Forward"). One was the daily newspaper of the Social Democratic Party of Germany whose writers included Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky. It still publishes as the organ of Germany's SDP, though that party has changed considerably since World War II. Another was the 1844 biweekly reader of the Communist League. Karl Marx, Engels and Mikhail Bakunin are among the names associated with that publication.
Lenin founded the publication "Vpered" (the Russian word for "forward") in 1905. Soviet propaganda film-maker Dziga Vertov made a documentary whose title is sometimes translated as "Forward, Soviet".
Then again, maybe it's all a coinincidence and FORWARD is just a word that jumped into Obama's head.
And maybe pigs can fly.
I think that's exactly why this billboard upset the left so much...

it's much too close to he truth.

I supported bush on some things (Afghanistan) anbd not others (Iraq). However, that was not addressed to you, it was only for demonstrative purposes. I have no problems with bush's actions on 9-11 and I have no problem thus far with Obama's actions at the beginning of Benghazi.
The purpose of my post was to demonstrate how hypocritical some posters in here are because while they defend bush for his actions on 9-11 they spend an inordinate amount of time attacking Obama.
I said a long time back that I welcomed an investigation and would consider what it said. The rest of this is all BS.
I think I remember what you say better than you do. Just a few pages back you were slamming President Bush for doing nothing on the morning of 9-11.

THINK, then type!

From Watchblog.com :
The states that voted for President Obama had 21 percent more college graduates than states that voted for Romney.
The states that ranked the lowest for high school and college graduates were all red states (predominately voted for Romney).
Eight out of 10 of the states that ranked the highest for high school college graduates were blue states (predominately voted for Obama). The number one state is Colorado
So this data goes to show the smarter and better educated one is the better chance they have voting correctly.
Gives new meaning to dumbed down republican...
The data is meaningless unless you know how those individuals vote... states don't cast votes. Non college educated folks vastly outnumber college grads, so "takers" votes could easily outnumber the votes of the college educated in many states.

Keep trying.

Did you know we have almost as many white men in prison than the total popultion of the US at the start of the Civil War?

No. You did neither.

* Misspeak is to prounounce a word incorrectly.
* Misquote is to quote something incorrectly.

You simply didn't know the correct phraseology.

The correct phrase is "to all intents and purposes." This phrase dates back to the 1500s and originated in English law, where it was "to all intents, constructions, and purposes." In modern usage, "for all intents and purposes" is also acceptable. The phrase means "for all practical purposes."

Don't screw with me, Clark. I studied hard in my youth to learn this crap.

Enough time to prevent the aircraft from crashing into a Pennsylvania field?
How many people died due to the time it took bush to act?
None. All four planes were already in the air by the time anyone knew we were under attack. If President Bush had waited as long as it's taking obama, we probably wouldn't have any tall buildings left standing.
okb2 wrote:
And of the grounded aircraft, how many had hijackers on board or on their boarding list?
Nobody knows, that's why President Bush grounded EVERY flight. He may have saved thousands of lives, or he may have saved none. Because he didn't act like obama did in Benghazi, we'll never know... thank God.

It's the difference between a strong leader like President Bush and a "pass the buck, blame others guy" like pResident barry. President Bush acted to prevent the further loss of life, obama let things continue until al-qaeda decided they were finished for the night.

Plus, shortly after it became apparent that the United States was under attack, Bush authorized the military to shoot down any unauthorized civilian aircraft that might have been heading toward the White House or the Capitol.
The chance never materialized. The flight slammed into the Pentagon before military jets had a chance to intercept it.

{These people have selective memories.}

During the multi hour Benghazi attack, Obama had enough time to have a 5 course meal and taken in a movie.
