Here at B2 (Bsquared) we feel it is very important to give. One of the things that makes us such a great team is that we really work hard individually to help others, whether it be something indirect and simple, like donating to the Goodwill, or more specifically, by mentoring or doing mission work, it is all very important to us all.

With students having been out of school for the summer, many of the food pantries have been hit pretty hard. Not mention that many families need help with back to school supplies. Several locations are listed below that could use your help. We would like to challenge all of our clients to do a drive to collect items, food, and clothing that can be donated to one of these locations as well. You can drop donations off here at our office in either tangible item form or as financial donation and we can coordinate the drop off, or feel free to do the collection and drop it off at a local center yourselves.

LOSE YOUR BLUES DRIVE

Collect old denim blue jeans in any shape and they will be sent to “Blue Jeans Go Green” and converted into UltraTouch™ Denim Insulation for homes.
Donate your instruments that are lying around the house, except pianos, and they will go to Play it Forward who will then distribute them to local school music programs.
Meacham Park Supply Drive

Follow this link to get access to the school supply lists or just collect basic school supplies and backpacks for their annual back to school backpack drive.
Kids Smart Back to School Drive for St. Louis Area

Collect from this list or donate financially.
Back 2 School Store

Any local food pantry would be grateful to receive items for the upcoming school season and the holidays. Food pantries can take any nonperishable food items, toiletries, and monetary donations.

Lately I have been attending the Northwest Chamber of Commerce events and they are big contributors to another great place called the Crisis Nursery Center. They are located throughout St. Louis and there are two in St Charles County. If you aren’t aware of the Crisis Nursery Center, they provide numerous services to all parents, not just those in need. They help house children in need of a place to stay in emergency situations; they offer diapers, food, clothing and short term child care for job interviews; and parents who just need a few hours to de-stress can get child care support. Recently I went through a divorce, I have three small children, and some of them are still in diapers. I personally utilized the services here to obtain diapers, babysitting for job interviews, and at times, a little peace and quiet to clean and do some laundry. They were extremely friendly, helpful and just offered me a little relief in a stressful time of my life.

Again, we would like to challenge everyone reading this to get involved in helping children get back to school, food pantries to get through the toughest season of the year, and/or the crisis nursery to support parents and their children. We here in the office will also be making sure to contribute to some of these and would love the opportunity to post a praise report due to the overwhelming response we may get. Feel free to contact us with any other charities that we should be communicating support needs!
