Hi everyone:I recently purchased an 2008 Roketa 250 cc scooter from Gorden whittit and golden vale Inc.ontario Ca.I have had this scooter from June 2008.the problem is I can,t register it in RI or any other state. The reason is The Certificet of origen is an false document. You see the document must be on conforming paper. The Co.has to have an license to sell motor vehicles.I checked with the city hall in Ontario Ca.and the DMV in Sacramento Ca.They don,t have an License to sell. They won,t help me in this problem or anything. So beware when you buy on line.Check every possible angle in the people you buy from.If you have any question,s please feel free.to contact me.

If that bike is anything like a MoPed you won't live long enough to worry about registration anyway. Those little scooters are a deathtrap on wheels.

Same story, here. I got the scooter, but not the MSO or the service promised.

"the problem is I can,t register it in RI or any other state"

The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators recommends security paper. Some states require security paper.

http://www.midwestbanknote.com/docs/MCO_ORDER...

To quote the Midwest Banknote Company(Maker of ultra expensive security paper)-

"MCOs produced by other printing companies that do not meet the AAMVA's recommended specifications
may be rejected by certain states."

Then again one can register a vehicle in Rhode Island without titling it..

http://www.rilin.state.ri.us/Statutes/TITLE31...
SECTION 31-3.1-9

"§ 31-3.1-9 Registration without certificate of title – Bond.– If the division of motor vehicles is not satisfied as to the ownership of the vehicle or that there are no undisclosed security interests in it, the division of motor vehicles may register the vehicle but shall either:

(1) Withhold issuance of a certificate of title until the applicant presents documents reasonably sufficient to satisfy the division of motor vehicles as to the applicant's ownership of the vehicle and that there are no undisclosed security interests in it;"

I don't see anything in the law that says what kind of paper it needs to be on...

Have my vehicle and the paperwork that came later has the wrong VIN on it. The dealer I bought it from has fled the state for another 'hunting' ground. It's so easy to get 'suckered'.

I am investigating false or fraudulent Manufacturers Certificates of Origin ("MCO's")that trail back to Goldenvale in Ontario, California. I have 17 in hand and would like to talk to other that have MCO problems with Goldenvale. I can be reached toll free at [email protected], I am not an attorney, but there is a law suit involved.

This is very disturbing. I have been dealing with Lily in the CA warehouse and have had nothing but problems. She lies about the scooter being shipped. She told our dealer that it had been shipped but 10 minutes before hand she told us that it had not left the warehouse yet. When she did send us a scooter, 2 months after we ordered it (they told us 7-10 days) it was the wrong one. Usually I wouldn't be so picky, hey it is a scooter, but I ordered a 250cc with all the bells and whistles and she sent us a plain jane 150cc. When we called her to inform her of the mistake she said, "Well that isn't my problem" Why not?
Our dealer, Dave Berrgman from extreme-scooters.com , has been great with the communication and trying his hardest to help us with this problem. I hope that I don't have the problems with the paperwork as others are having but with all the luck we are having so far I may have to check back on the progress with others. I do know that Roketa won't send you a certificate of origin. That needs to come from your dealer.

Ordered scooter from ScooterNitro. Was told it would take about 15 days to ship from Roketa warehouse. Received notice that it had shipped on the 15th day. Received correct paperwork 1 day before scooter and had no problems wit scooter or paperwork. Have 300 miles on MC-54-250B with no problems. Was in perfect condition when received

I purchased from extreme-scooters.com and can not get them to answer the phone or email. I bought my scooter 2 months ago and have not received the mso. Goldenvale will not help, they will only issue mso to selling dealer.

Same deal here in Iowa. Bought a scooter through MrScooters.com , MCO dated 7/16, it is now 8/20 and we don't have the proper paperwork. VIn # on MCO doesn't match Vin # on scooter. There has to be a way to nail these guys for the way they run business, this is not right!!!!

I bought my Roketa through Scooter Jones, inc. Personally I think they are in on the scam. It was an absolute nightmare from day 1. I have a certificate of origin but it seems useless. Scooter Jones never signed it over to me after goldenvale signed it over to them (supposedly, it is a stamp) I can not get a response from Scooter Jones although I did talk to someone at Goldenvale who said that it is SJ place to register it w/ the DMV.???

I also had a lot of problems and lies from Roketa via mxmotorsports I think anyone reading this should be warned and I also think we should turn all these people into the F.B.I.'s internet crime fraud unit...stat

I bought a go cart from Golden Vale through All New Sports in Kansas. It ran for about two months then stop running. I sent it back to Cal. It took four months to get it back after a lot of phone calls and promises from Lilly that were not true. It arrived in a damaged box inside a ups box. When I took it out the intake tube and cam chain cover were broken off. I sent this motor back and after a long drawn out ordeal with Golden Vale and UPS I finally got the "new motor" without a drive sprocket. I put it on the cart in hopes to order a sprocket, when I got it to run and put it in gear, the drive shaft doesn't turn.

Hi... I bought this scooter and had no time to register it right away, because I work so much. I finally got different hours and went to register and get a title. We live in Lafayette area and they said I had to have an "original hand written signature". So have tried to contact the company to no avail. It is said they went to OKLAHOMA so got that number and got a REAL PERSON....matter of fact several REAL PEOPLE. The last one told me they couldn't help and to contact the "company I bought it from" I told them who...ALL NEW SPORTS, LLC. was NO MORE. They said, "Sorry we can't help you." Humm so this must be another "rip-off company". Wondering what I can do next!?! any suggestions??
