Age does not bother me in the least. Even when my daughter reminds me that I am gonna be "10 Lincolns", and 50 Washingtons" So many commediens out of work and I have one living with me. Ha Ha LOL Much Love to You and All the rest, Denie Well I guess you don't need me saying your going to be a half of a century tee hee. Or five decades, tee hee tee hee!! I love being where I am in life, I'm hitting 61 on Hams birthday and I think of every single day as being one day nearer to my Heavenly Home -- It only gets better from here. My baby sister turns 50 tomorrow and I remember the day mom was brought out in a wheelchair carrying her and my grandma went to take her from her arms so she could get in the car. And my mom said wait a minute - I promised Judy she would be the first to hold her. I've never forgot that and how special she has always been to me. You gotta know how much I hope you enjoy your special day Denie when it gets here, have them load that cake right up with candles and tell them you earned every single one tee hee. Much love -- Jute

My doctor told me that if it was snowing in January when I see him again..Just don't come..re-schedule.. He has taken to heart my need for gentle days..He wanted to know how I avoided stress.. I told him..You gotta learn how to say no.. I am pretty much aware of my stress points so I have learned to turn them over to the Lord... As Paul said.. I have learned to be content.. Altho living alone has been a challenge for me.. Believe it or not BOO loves this hot weather.. One would think that with a fur coat he would be too warm.. But then I think of all the pictures of lions and tigers laying around in the hot sun.. Cats don't pant like a doggie either.. God sure knew what he was doing when he created felines.. Remember how God said.."It is good" after every day of His creating.. The only time God said that it was not good was when He said.."It is not good for man to be alone." That's why BOO is so precious for me.. Now the Holy Spirit makes sure I am not alone.. He is always with me.. How grateful I am.. Thanks for being here this morning.. Ham Again Ham this is so special, indeed God does not want us to be alone. Thats why I love Topix, it provides us with endearing friendships and so much encourgement and inspiration. Even to waking at 2AM jotting a note and knowing someone somewhere will come on line and respond "usually" tee hee. You and Boo sound so purrfect for each other -- We love our Sadie as well, however she does pant - She is spoiled I must say -- Thinking of you , keep cool o;k - Jute

LOL I'm not complaining because I know that time passes so quickly. I am enjoying every moment given to me. I did so enjoy hearing the interview and reading about your Pastor. I am praying for God's blessings to rest on this man, his wife, and his church family. Gotta run but Much Love to You and All of our topix family. Denie My friend Denie... I know how kids are, they keep you very busy! Thanks for the prayers for Pastor Phillip and our church. They interviewed him on the Christian station K-Love too... Keep in touch sweetie, Blessings and Love,

denie wrote: Hi Ham and Bart, I do enjoy reading the posts you fellows write. It is good to know that you are both here sharing your thoughts, beliefs, and opinions. They are much appreciated. Love Denie This goes for Tim, and Thumper Gosh I miss Christian Man, Stoobee, and Pound of Nuts. I think of them often and pray for them too! We are blessed on this thread to have strong brothers in Christ Hi Denie! My worship leader just called and canceled our Thursday night practice because of everyone being busy tonight. That's ok then i can spend some time with my lovely wife and with yous guys. I have been listening to some theology lessons in my travels and am pumpin up my theological muscles. Sometimes I might just throw something out there and it might go across someones grain Theologically. I would hope some rebuttal would follow in that case. I don't wanna argue but see it from another's perspective. I would never be so bold as to say I have it all figured out. Cya out here in topix denie!

I try an only run my air conditioning in my car to when I have the elderly, to save mileage. But yesterday the heat got to me and I had to roll up the windows and turn it on. Tee hee as if I'm not elderly :) The storm didn't do much damagte here, but about 30 miles North of us they got hail and high winds. We did get rain. Looks like rain for the weekend and I have a teen respite that wants to go to the Getty Drive Inn, so I hope we can. All is well as I hope at your end. Jute

But I'm sure his reconnection is just what he needs especially with his wife, as for God that can only grow as each day passes, I don't think we can ever fully have enough - do you? If ever a mans life has been touched by God this mans has. Yes it's good to be busy, I pray for the provision each day and thank God as well. I know he will only give me what I can handle, Next Friday I have a 400 mile run, a lady and her little boy needs to go to Ann Arbor Hospital and I will be leaving about 5AM, so if you think of me, I'd apreciate a prayer for safety on that long journey. Lovingly Jute

I was talking to a friend tonight who is a operations manager for a garbage hauler and has a employee who got into a motorcycle accident. He is in a coma and is kept alive by machines. He asked me to pray for this young man whose name is Jeff.

We can agree or we can disagree, but we need to do "both" with respect. I have met many non Christians on topix that really get their jollies when Christians fight or even disagree. I have seen disagreements between brethren that get down right nasty. Our Pastors' brother's church had a man bring a shotgun to a business meeting over music style. Church doctrine and even individual beliefs/discernment are the root of much bitterness in and out of the church. Things like do we dunk or do we sprinkle? Is it a representative wafer or is it the body? Wine or blood? KJV or NIV? Traditional or contemporary music? Green carpet or blue? Lol The Nons are just waiting for us to feud and fight. I choose my battles very carefully. The world is watching. Have I ever disagreed with a brother or sister? Sure, email is great for talking about differences. Nice and private. I love the Lord. He is my guide. Our Music Director is in Indianapolis for a couple of weeks. She and her siblings are taking care of a medical emergency with her Mom. Please pray for them. I have the privilege of leading the Praise Team this Sunday. We are singing several songs but my favorite one is Daystar. I love this song. Do you know it? Love Denie

Hi Tim These are the words. Jesus, The Bright and Morning Star. Bless Your Name. Lily of the valley, let your sweet aroma fill my life; Rose of Sharon show me, how to grow in beauty in God's sight. Fairest of ten thousand, make me a reflection of Your light. Daystar shine down on me. Let Your love shine through me in the night. Lead me Lord, I'll follow anywhere You open up the door. Let me know Your wisdom. Show me things I've never seen before. Lord, I want to be Your witness. You can take what's wrong and make it right. Daystar shine down on me Let Your love shine through me in the night Lord, I see a world that's dying, wounded by the master of deceit; groping in the darkness, haunted by the years of past defeat. But, then I see You standing near me, shining with compassion in Your eyes. Jesus shine down on me. Let Your love shine through me in the night.
