A number have dumped the religion here.

Though I give most of the credit to the religinuts.

It seems their bad behavior trumps rational arguments in persuading some posters the religion is empty nonsense.

I am not aware of any posters going in the opposite direction.

There's more.
To protect you from taking messages like this seriously, you are also taught that people like me are bad. We are the enemies of so-called virtues like faith, obedience, and piety. We are described as prideful, rebellious, depraved pleasure seekers that are too selfish to submit.

*
This might be the part that bothers me the most...maybe what has always bothered me...what I hate.

To be thought of as the enemy...the angel of darkness...

That our love, kindness, empathy, concern...is somehow less than theirs...

Then to hear those words..."Christian love"...

I was once told..."I love you Annie just the way you are...but we will pray that Jesus comes in to your life and changes you." WTF...what kind of crap was that???

Oh well...I just said thank you and let it go...why bother explaining why that was offensive.

Exactly my point.
I've asked, to lead everyone into a possible direction, of so-called "Christians" to supply the exact and specific statement by "God" that states which biblical orientated texts are of "His inspiration" and which are not.

2 Tim 3;16
is full answer?
people don't refuse answer your question,
only you are to stupid to understand this simple answer, not given to you to understand at all according to 2 Peter 1;20
poor idiot
2 Timothy shows ALL biblical texts to be inspired, not just the canon.

Besides, since this is someone other than "God" stating this, you answer really didn't apply to my request.

Let's try again....

Please a specific statement by "God" that directly states which texts are "of His inspiration" and which are not.

So far, you have given a statement by "Paul" stating ALL texts are inspired.

But in truth - this is not from "God", nor will you find anything.

I'm just concerned that you will continue to seek out misinformation to try and continue to promote lies.

Why do you want to bear false witness against others?

I don't know...I don't see it as trying to convert anyone or convincing anyone that I am "gifted"...it was and is...trying to find a way of understanding...explaining how I feel about certain aspects of "religion".

I have come to realize how foolish my thinking was on that...it is why I am not here as much I suppose.

Besides...I am trying to make a living with my band..."The Singing Demoniacs"! LOL

A strange metaphor.
You can also judge a tree by it's sheer beauty. Or the shade it provides. Or the wind-break it provides.
Not all trees bear fruit....
So Jesus was a moron, too. It's His metaphor.

Ever even read the Bible ?

I will admit that thanks to X and Senecus I have a new understanding and respect for Jesus and the ancient texts. One could call it spiritual awakening, it has nothing to do with "Christianity" though. In fact, it occurred IN SPITE OF Christianity.

Good point. There are those who hold that murder in the name of Jesus as "better" than "atheist science" saving millions of lives.

What I find disgusting is that they actually believe such insanity is "moral".

Well, you may be one.

But the historical Jesus has little to do with Christianity.
