Thing Two, no more nasty posts about Happy Lesbo!!
Just like Thing One, I think HL is a wonderful person, to be admired and respected, and not denigrated.
And let nothing come between you and the naked men you take baths with!

LOL

Studies have shown both positive and negative aspects of spanking. I preferred the spanking method and the psychological methods.
My kids both fear and respect me. I've earned their trust the past 17 years. I've never broken a promise to them and I never will. I love those boys with all my heart.
If you really thought my parental tactics weren't your business, you wouldn't have chimed in on it.
I disagree with HL.

Others' parental "tactics," as you put it, can certainly become our business.

Domestic violence, and violence against innocent children, is a blight on our society. It damages not just the children themselves, but also the entire fabric of society.

I cringe when I run into people like you, who take violence against children, or cohabitants, so lightly.

The very fact that you proudly announce that your children fear you is abominable. And yet, it is consistent with the tenets of your religion, isn't it?

See that's a question.
I hope you're not acting smart yet because I missed it.
Dumbass troll doesn't know the difference between denying I asked a question and saying I didn't care!

I only asked to use it as a segue to laugh at you!

Its too bad she doesn't understand reciprocity
I can't understand what would justify someone returning constant kindness and respect with insults and group attacks for personal gratification but I won't press the issue

You better not press the issue.

That's a warning.

Pedophiles that rape children are a blight on our society. And for money you try to make sure they remain part of it

My hypothetical was not an accused child molester, it was an admitted child molester.
If the person admitted to the crime there really wouldn't be much need for a trial.

It is sad however that each day we wait for a new day with no mistakes...and it never gets here. Tomorrow seems to be always one day in to the future.
Now I am depressed...all I got is...today...I suppose I should make the most of it...even if it is filled with mistakes.
Imagine how absolutely boring and uninspiring it would be if everything was perfect.

A THREAT

"Spoken or written words tending to intimidate or menace others."

http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com...

.. battery is acting on the threat ..

.. why would this definition be different for a child ??..

.. recent sociology studies all indicate spanking teaches aggressive behavior. As a child, were you spanked? You don't have to answer that question. It's just idle curiosity ..

.. we're debating different parental methods. I never personally insulted or demeaned your parenting style. As a parent, I wanted to 'chime' in and express my thoughts. I do not understand why you have taken offense other than you've been taking a pounding lately and it was a natural defensive reaction ..

.. my posts have all been abstract and theoretical ..
