I ‘m glad you are getting better. I didn’t realize it took that long to get the hang of it. Our friend who has two doesn’t use his much. He is a tall man though and I would think that might make it harder.
Keep on keeping on. I really don’t see you letting it get the best of you.:)
It's not that hard to walk. Even toddlers can do that.

When I used to move to the right I expected to be there before the though hit my mind. My right leg makes that difficult these days. I compensate.

I have seen four possible theories. At best some believe it may be valid except claim it would not contain the Carpocration additions
Nobody has proved it is valid
Many don't believe it is
Just some other scholars comments
Patrick Skehan: "...a morbid concatenation of fancies..."[17]
Joseph Fitzmyer: "...venal popularization..."[18] "...replete with innuendos and eisegesis..."[19]
Paul J. Achtemeier: "Characteristically, his arguments are awash in speculation."[20] "...an a priori principle of selective credulity..."[21]
William Beardslee: "...ill-founded..."[ 22]
Pierson Parker: "...the alleged parallels are far-fetched..."[23]
Hans Conzelmann: "...science fiction..."[24] "...does not belong to scholarly, nor even...discussable, literature..."[25]
Raymond Brown: "...debunking attitude towards Christianity..."[26]
Frederick Danker: "...in the same niche with Allegro's mushroom fantasies and Eisler's salmagundi."[27]
Helmut Merkel: "Once again total warfare has been declared on New Testament scholarship."[28]
http://gnosis.org/library/secm_commentary.htm
Can you show me any scholars or experts that put their reputation on the line stating with any degree of certainty this is valid?
Many of these "scholars" are shills. Of the quality ones, such as Brown, a conservative, believing Catholic, his comment is taken out of context, even though the actual author behind the list of comments, Eyer, was trying to show the initial reaction, not the ultimate consensus.

Brown actually wrote: "Hostility has marked some of the initial reactions to smith's publication because of his debunking attitude toward Christianity and his unpleasant suggestion that Jesus engaged in homosexual practices with his disciples. I shall leave the critique to that of others..."

Do you have any of their quote or links where i can see what they claim?
I am sure i can Google it but i figure you'd know better where to find it specifically. I don't want to spend hours reading through stuff if I don't have to

Yes I can. Those scholars include Ron Cameron, Thomas Talley, Marvin Meyer, Scott Brown, John Dominic Crossan, Helmut Koester, and many others.
More importantly, Smith's claim that Jesus was a magician is unrelated to the Mar Saba Clementine Fragment. If you wanna know why Smith considered Jesus a magician, you'll have to read his book in that subject:
http://www.amazon.com/Jesus-Magician-Morton-S...
But that has nothing to do with the Mar Saba fragment.
And yes. I am a proponent of Secret Mark. I believe it genuine. I believe the canon demands it.
I would add most the scholars I have found do not believe it to be true

The other six you listed are the only ones I can find

And all of them have books on the subject. Five of them naming their book specifically on the subject of secret gospels

What a surprise

I thought you might know of a specific site where they are quoted

But I found what I needed anyway

All your scholars are making money off their claim

No surprise that the ones who have nothing to profit by it don't think it is real

Just like Christians know their Bible and try to be Christ like. They can't. It's not possible. There are no Christians here.
Correct.
It's not possible.

I believe Christ is in my heart- my very being.

And I will stand beside: the prisoner the murderer and the thief any day before
I will stand with a christian elitist.

Just as Jesus would have done.

btw, I probably would go to the library

Marvin Meyer for example is charging $35.96 for the paperback edition at Amazon! But that is down from the original price of $39.95

Almost $40 for a paperback

That's something else

meh...he is probably just a guy who wants to get the truth out. Ya know, and make as much money as he possibly can in the process. I am sure he isn't biased

Well look at that

After a 6 months of staying on the fence and almost going atheist she finally makes a commitment again!

Yet only a few weeks ago you claimed if people betrayed your confidence they just helped to show you the love of Christ isn't real. And a few weeks before that you didn't know if Christ stays in a person's heart

You are such a fraud

This is silliness.

Do you really think Craig Evans makes no money from his books?

Really?

BTW, Brown's mis-characterized quote comes from a book edited by Evans.

Also BTW, Scott Brown's book is actually his thesis for his PhD, slightly modified. And the venture was so profitable, its publication had to be subsidized.

Really?

Dang it, I posted too soon!

I forgot to add when you called Christ "your Lord" when talking to Que and said "your Lord" won't be happy with you" or something to that effect and I asked you "isn't He your Lord too?" and you refused to answer

You must be talking to Christians again on FB and decided to play Christian some more I take it?

You seem to be saying that you would "stand beside" a murderer rather than someone who just thinks they're better in some way than someone else, or as you say a, "christian elitist."

Surely, you can't believe that a murderer deserves your forgiveness before someone who acts as an elitist, Christian or not.

There is a difference between making money off of specifically promoting an incredulous claim versus writing a book in general

Or you figure its just a coincidence that 5 of the 6 of them used it for their title?

Controversy sells. And if you can include some scandal you can charge $40 for a paperback

Just worked out for some of them very well I guess

Could you please provide links sO I can see what has been said in its entirety

But what is this, another book specifically on the subject of secret gospels

The name sure looks like it:

My Master is alive and still untouchable. Your Master was nailed to lumber.

My Master still teaches interactively. Your Master is relegated to a third or fourth party written rendition.

My Master would shake your hand and hug you. Your Master would probably do that too.

Now I'm thinking we need to hire Catcher to defend Jesus against these scurrilous charges of pedophilia.
