Probably gay people. It's also been established that pedophiles don't like to be seen as either heterosexual or homosexual.

So, based upon that, I think it's relevant to point out there are differences and that should be kept in mind.

You claim to not police other Christians, and yet you consistently "try" to police <> LeLe, and have tried in the past to do so with people such as Luci, Annie, and others, that seemed to be in doubt if they were or were not Christians... Perhaps you affected their final decision.

Also...

You consistently attempt to define what Christianity means to other Christians, and non Christians too.

That's policing.

NO matter how much spin you want to put on it, it comes down to this:
"the actions of a few members within Christianity, taints the whole of Christianity."THAT is stereotyping
No, that is an observation.

Those actions taint Christianity. You seem to forget you have an "official" doctrine, outlined in the bible, and further, doctrines within and along denominational lines.

So, when Christians do something that blatantly and directly contradict or conflict with that publicly stated and written down doctrinal outline, that taints the message of Christianity.

Notice, if some Christians exhibit racism, misogyny, violent behaviors and other such contradictory actions, does not mean that it applies to all Christians, IE; It does not mean all Christians are thought to be the same.

It simply means that some Christians, no matter what is stated in your religious text and doctrinal outlines, do not follow that, and in turn, that, reflects upon all of Christianity, which claims to have a superior moral approach to living life and being superior components of society or civilization.

I'm not really asking because you will continue to play these games. There are only two possibilities here. You don't understand what stereotyping is. Or you aren't being honest
There's another option, the one you want to ignore.

I'm not stereotyping.

But maybe I am wrong and you stereotype all people of faith
Are all muslims tainted by 9-11?
As I pointed out earlier, I've already gave my position concerning that issue.

So if people see a gay scout leader molest a kid and that's what they now connect in their mind to gay scout leaders, then all gay scout leaders are tainted by the actions of a few
That's how it works right?
You're quite predictable.

Here's why I supplied that additional information.

The Boy Scouts of America do not hire atheists, and agnostics. This means they are a theistic organization, and further, it also logically dictates due to being an American(USA) organization, predominantly Christian.

They also do not hire homosexuals.

So what we have is a theist, predominantly Christian organization that does not employ atheists, agnostics, or homosexuals.

And yet there were cases of pedophilia within that organization.

Theist pedophiles were employed by the Boy Scouts of America.

Does that mean all Scout leaders were pedophiles? No. Does it taint the image of the Boy Scouts of America? Yes.

Does it taint Christianity as well? Yes, due to it(BOA) being a theistic and predominantly Christian organization.

That's unfortunate, but a result.

Nope, that's not what I've ever said.

Christian message <> Christians <> Two different concepts.

No, it taints the message of Christianity.

That's all it does. If a Christian exhibits racism, and even goes as far as supplying biblical verses supporting his stance, does not mean I think all Christians are racists, nevertheless, the message of Christianity has been affected, corrupted...tainted.

The only connection is the Boy Scouts. It doesn't matter that being gay and a pedophile may be two separate things and that it has nothing to do with Boy Scout ideology. Isn't matter that other gay scout leaders would never molest a child. They can be connected by a shared association therefore they are all tainted

Per your rationale
No, that's not my rationale, that's your rationale.

Your rationale extends that to mean all Scout leaders are connected to being pedophiles.

My rationale would be; When a Scout leader is found to be a pedophile, that taints the image of the Boy Scouts of America.

That doesn't mean I would suspect all Scout leaders of being pedophiles. It means the organization, Boy Scouts Of America, had failed in it's message, intent and clearly stated outcome or intended result.

And so it is with Christianity.

When pedophilia, child abuse and abuse is evidenced within the Catholic clergy, or Protestant ministry, or by members of either and all versions of Christianity, it taints the message of Christianity.

It doesn't mean I think all Christians are pedophiles, child abusers, abusers, or racists, misogynists, et al.

It's simple.

It just means Christianity has been tainted. The message has been damaged. The claim to having a superior moral discipline or conduct based upon the Christian doctrine or message is cast into doubt.

Christianity has been tainted by the actions of admittedly, less than exemplary Christians.

The claims to having a superior deity given and directed moral imperative, otherwise known as the message of Christianity, has been blemished, cast into doubt, tainted.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: Theses things saith he that is holy , he that is true, he that hath the key of David, the that openeth and no man shutteth; and shutteth and no man openeth.
I know thy works behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it; for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word and hast not denied my name.
Behold I will make them of the synagogue of Satan which say they are Jew and are not but do lie: behold I will make them to come and worship before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee.
Because thou has kept the word of my patience I also will keep three from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Behold I come quickly: hold fast which thou hast that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God and he shall go no more out and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God which is new Jerusalem which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

"The God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked; his wrath towards you burns like fire; ... he is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in his eyes, than the most hateful venemous serpent is in ours. Brilliant insight!
Here this Christian is (falsely) accusing us of judging all of Christendom based on the actions of one person, which is exactly what his god allegedly did.
Then the response back equates to:

"That has a metaphorical meaning"

The cognitive dissonance exhibited there is astounding.
