The stupidity of your rationalizing and self-forgiveness is stunning. What makes you think that you can post something like that and not be mocked? Even your bible contradicts you. Or maybe you weren't aware of that.

Listen BT, I'll apologize to you because, well, just because. But let me tell you where I'm coming from. Your posts seem to glamorize the tough life, the kill or be killed. Yet you talk of the ALL and how were all one and connected, yet you would still kill a part of the all. Doesnt make much sense to me.

I'm also a person that doesnt like to be challenged and you had no reason to, really, challenge everyone on this thread. It pissed me off.........I tried to let it go and couldn't..........

As you say it is what it is..........

Hypocrite.

You have been tantruming about my modification of a quiz question which was nothing more than clarifying the specific scenario that it applied to: from "last words" to "last words on the cross" as if that mattered. Only the first question was asked of you - the second was to Juice. You might have claimed that when it was asked of you, that the question was ambiguous. If so, you should have been specific yourself: these were Jesus at the last supper, these were his last words on the cross, these were his last words last words before ascension, etc. That was all a diversion from your failure. What's your excuse for missing it again the second time you answered it, when the scenario was disambiguated? Huh, Christian?

You give yourself special dispensation, something that I have claimed all along is a result of your cheap Christian self-forgiveness.

Hypocrite.

My post was about not judging a group of people based on the actions of one member of the group acting on his personal feelings and not a shared group ideology.
But we're not.

First, we are not judging a group of people. We are judging their ideology based on its observed effect on them.

Second, you are not alone. All seasoned Topix posters have seen a huge swath of Christianity. We base our low opinion of your faith and its effect on people by the spectrum of behaviors we see.

When we generalize on it and point to specific examples, your rationalization is always this one, and it is always rejected.

You don't like that insight, do you, monkey boy? Why don't you tantrum for us. Stomp and fling your feces in Jesus name.

.. you're going to have to provide an example of my indulging in name calling or retract your statement ..
.. I'm very careful with word selection and try to convey a concept void of insults and elitism. Instead of reading words like "IF," "SOME," 'THINK" or "FEEL," many posters only inhale what follows my qualifier, internalize my writing and become personally offended ..
.. TRIFECTA repeats the same message verbatim. When I reference this personality quirk, is it name calling or fact? How is it similar to him calling me, "Stupid Woman?" ..
.. when I post, "I THINK Scom is a very trouble man, how is that name-calling and similar to "You can't be honest with yourself?" He still doesn't understand my ego defense challenge and never will. Instead, I THINK he must continue his regular assaults on my character to enforce his negative ego qualities ..
.. if posters rally around such character assassination, even encourage name-calling, society suffers an ignominious defeat. But, if you learn from defeat, surrender to what is, you win ..
.. religion can be destroyed but it will never be defeated. Instead, it will evolve. People will overlook scriptures regarding homosexuality, witchcraft or immoral atheists because society is beginning to recognizes what it is - bigotry ..
.. if Christianity's sole purpose is to conquer, it will surely be defeated. Instead, it must assimilate into cultural norms of acceptance ..
.. would you like to know how many silk scarves I own ??..
Aaaw don't feel bad sis..I just found out I am a "murderer".
How would ya like ta be "me"?

Good for you, Le_Le. I agree with you. We don't give into terrorists, and we don't give in to tantruming children that haven't learned to share. This is our thread - yours and mine - as much as anybody's. And nobody but Topix and the law have a say as to who can post or what opinions they can express. Those that try should be defied and harshly judged.

Oh..it's really not "religion"...You may be completely surprised at what you find there...and it is over 4200 years old ta boot....the Egyptians had a court system that may have been even better than ours today...even at that time...now, tell me we have "progressed"...I think not.
I will leave it to you to figure out why we have regressed from that point in time if you should decide to investigate what I have posited.
If you do, let me know what your thoughts are.
If you wish to investigate, I have all the reference you need. It is NOT easy to find...but I have it...at least most(or a lot) of it anyway...and I will give you the most relevant pieces and timelines that are available (from my personal knowledge or holdings).

The cognitive dissonance you exhibit is funny.

Nicely said. Of course these people reflect on their faith and its power or lack thereof.

Careful! He may start calling you a Christian harassing, tire pissing troll for holding and expressing such opinions.

Ya Larry, It is what it is.
Why didn't ya just talk to me about it. I would have explained it all to you the best I could. There is no "glamour" on "killing" nor being killed. which position would you prefer? I am still here...so you know which I took as important...but...you don't know the reasons why....you never even asked...no one ever does ...they just pass judgement. I don't blame you for not being any different...you have not walked in my shoes...and hopefully you will never have to. had I not been there, it may very well have been you rather than me.
NOW, If you believe in a "God"...you should thank your lucky stars you weren't me. Sometimes I "hate" me...no matter whether I was right or wrong...it doesn't even matter. If you catch me on the right day, I will even give you a "free shot" if you wish.
I grew up hard. I have looked beyond that...maybe "because" of the hard knocks. I don't back up...and I don't hate.
I am sorry you see me as some horrible entity. That was my biggest fear. I spent years battling fools over it just to survive in the world in which I lived. I am old and I am tired...but I am still strong...or I am nothing. I devote myself to my family now ..no stronger love has any man than I.
You can hate me of you wish...I will not hold it against you...in fact you will become another part and parcel of an army I fail to understand.
