Bible God is not only evil but a complete moron as well.
Imagine a carpenter building a crappy house then burning it down becuse he cut the lumber all wrong... then blaming the wood!
The god is even more moronic than that.

His first draft of man was a failure, so he decides to drown them and try again. So what does he do? Does he rethink the plans and produce a new strain with better DNA? Nah, he chooses a drunk and his sons to serve as breeding stock to repopulate the earth. And shock of shocks, the people generated by this hare-brained scheme are just as sinful! Go figure.

I guess that the reason he didn't drown us all again is that he realizes that he can't do better, but still blames us enough to gratuitously keep us conscious forever while burning in fire just to feel it and scream. That's the evil side of this dimwit god.

What I'd like to know is why it can't tolerate sin. I can. You can. It's not that hard. Are we more powerful than this god in that regard? It has conniptions over the matter.

And what is it planning to do with so many sinners in heaven? Learn to get over it? Correct their sin nature? Can it do those things? If so, why not do it now? Why does it need hell?

Of course, the god is not the evil imbecile. The god is just a myth. It's the church that propagates this sin and hell theology that is so malevolent, and the people in its sway that call it supreme love that are a little weak upstairs.

Just as you think it funny that I critique something you think I know nothing of, I think it funny that you are in here critiquing our topic, and it is a topic you know not much of, are unwilling to learn and you are just trying to belittle our Faith and disclaim our history.
Serah, your kitchen walls are black! You shouldn't have painted them black with white pokadots. It looks terrible.

What? I know I've never been to your kitchen and I realize that I know nothing about you or your house, but I just have this very strong, unshakeable feeling that you have painted your kitchen walls black with white pokadots and I know how wrong that is.

Nope.
Jesus was a Jew.
"Christ" is the Sun God of the pagan religion AKA Christianity. Paul is the proxy High Priest.
I stand corrected, I should have said "jesus the christ" so the reference was clear

You have been coming to Topix for years seeking out Christians to argue with. Christians are trying to have nothing to do with you but you don't let them.
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 bring the worst, how crazy do you think you are?
Whatever you answer is, add 9 to the number you came up with.
I am not here to argue with skum

you got it wrong, as usual

Since you have been here for months all you have mostly done is fight with Skombolis and show just how petty and low intellect you are. Go back to you pissing contest, that the main reason for you to be on this billboard.
My first five posts today contradict that.

The first was about the bible as a Rorschach test - how you interpret it however you life and cherry pick scriptures to defend your choices. The second was using Whisper's words as evidence to support the first.

Then came the post about the evil idiot god that repopulated the earth with the same kind of people he had just drowned, and about the theological contradictions inherent in the idea that the god can't tolerate sin, but will populate heaven with human souls.

Then came the post above that contains the data that allows us to conclude that your church is dying.

And now this one. None of them is this pissing contest that you claim constitutes most or all of my output in months. Even when I do battle with the Dimwit, it's often informative, if you care about things like living abroad, what Mexico is like, and what its requirements are for foreign residents are.

You, on the other hand, do almost exclusively post to your fantasy reality, which denies the existence of all of the above, and embraces a dream world in which your church is thriving and the change all around you is not occurring.

Sorry, but opinions are evolving, they do matter, and your church is dying in the process.

This would be where you don't understand science. He doesn't study people - I do. He studies genes. Yes, he's brilliant in his own field. No, he knows nothing of mine. When a scientist steps into the field of another one, without any background or training in it, they make silly mistakes. Their mistakes usually aren't as ridiculous as those uneducated in science, but they make them nonetheless.
His statements about people are 1) religiously, 2) culturally and 3) historically bounded. He isn't talking about all humans, though he doesn't realize this. He's only talking about how he understands humans from a Christian experience - he is incapable of presenting human universals.
Both Collins and Dawkins make mistakes when they talk about human behavior and evolution. That they do shouldn't surprise anyone.
Thank God your perfect in you field then ~ otherwise science would be really stuffed :)

You asked for a list for the rights of Mother and Baby, I believe!

How does one ask a dead baby how they feel about being dead or what it felt like as they were being slaughtered? A one sided debate as there is only one side to the story, unless you have something else in mind :(

You got me curious if I did wrote that, so I went-a searchin.
I didn't even remember, I was shit-faced drunk that night.
There's a wee bit of honesty from RR.
You should try it once in awhile.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you say that a drunk mind speaks the truth? It was about a week ago when the racist epithets were flowing from you during your latest oratory? You can deny it but we'll see what happens when I pray to jeebus for a post number, it seems to work like a charm.

So we've addressed the fact that you did actually say that you were an "avid viewer" of that site.

What we haven't addressed is your predilection for extreme fetishistic pornography which is degrading to women and how you reconcile this with your adherence to 'scripture'?

BTW it was good to see you've developed some manly searching techniques, you've been lacking those haven't you.

You have to watch this - it's insanely embarrassing to all Americans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =kNspEpMK7FEXX I mean...wow. Mind you, I don't think our politicians are as stupid as yours (and I know you're in Mexico to escape the rampant stupidity - and that you still miss it or you wouldn't come to topix), but they same some pretty evil stuff like "I think Japan has enough gender equality" and "the earthquake and tsunami of 3/11 happened because Tokyo is too elegant and consumerist" etc.
Pretty funny, although I have to disagree with you that I come to Topix because I miss the stupidity of American politics. I generally try to keep my drinking from that cup to a minimum.

You're right - one of the benefits of moving out of the country was to get away from that. I really wish America the best of luck, but wishing is as useless as saying God Bless America, and I no longer expect that America will get back on track in my lifetime. It was unbearable to witness up close. Now, I only see as much of that kind of thing as I choose to - mostly from Bill Maher.

I found the continual bickering, stupidity and fail too oppressive. I just stopped caring about the liberal-hating conservatives and atheist-hating Christians, which comprise roughly half the nation. How can you support a nation half of which considers you Satan, a Communist, or both? My taxes that weren't being wasted abroad on war and interest payments on the debt were being spent in part to support people that considered people like me traitors. Sorry, but Homey don't play dat.

Add in a government that I believe is now committed to exploiting its citizens while imitating a democracy, and my sense of connection and belonging there disappeared.

Here's a present in return, from George Carlin:

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Warning: it's pretty pessimistic about America, too. I've included some excerpts:

"Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls."

[snip]

"You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it."

Thanks for your heartfelt concern, but it's not possible to take vacations any more. I used to take vacations to get away from my work-a-day world in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the "Gateway to the Ozarks" - often in Mexico. We liked those vacations so well, we made them our life.

Now you want me to go back "down in the holler" for a vacation?
