Where in that would you decide that I'm implying that it's 'gotta be' all three options?

"In God We Trust" has been on US currency since 1864, almost 100 years before "Under God" was added to the pledge.
I rightfully ignored nonsense.
*sigh*

You're being disingenuous again.

The phrase did appear on some US coinage as early as 1864.

It did not become mandatory on paper currency until 1957.

Dude. You live in Riverside.
One of my best friends worked with me a few years ago. He was a Mexican immigrant that earned his American citizenship.

He never let go of his Mexican heritage and we both learned a great deal about each other's cultures. One of the funniest damn thing he ever said was calling a Sloppy Joe a "sloopy joe" lol.

About 2 years ago, his family had a tragedy and he moved back to Mexico. He said he didn't mind, he really missed his home but will always appreciate the experiences America blessed him with.

Anyway, the house he moved to was his deceased dad's house. He was bragging about it (in a humurous way, because he'd been in America for over a decade) having "8 foot high walls and everything!".

My home in Riverside is a mansion compared to the mud huts in Mexico.

But I'm assuming and shouldn't be.

What's your house like down there?

Yeah, the quidnuncs. And the lackwits.
Incidentally, I used that word "quidnunc" with you in mid, assuming that you would look it up and make it yours if you saw it. You seem to love fun words, too, hence "lackwit":
[1] Lackwit - a dull or witless person (yo, Shrink!)
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/lac...
Here are a few more with a religious bent:
[2] Entheomaniac - one who is literally insane about religion, or feels that he speaks for a god (yo, Adam!)
http://www.definitions.net/definition/entheom...
[3] Tartuffe - a religious hypocrite (yo, Trifecta!)
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/tartuffe
[4] Eisegetical - of distortion of text, usually biblical, to support a prejudice (yo, Skombolis!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eisegesis
[5] Antinomian - one that believes that faith in Christ frees him from moral obligations (yo, Red Apples!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antinomianism
[6] Antithalian - disapproving of laughter or festivity (yo, Here For Now!)
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/antithalian
And some more of general applicability to go with quidnunc and lackwit:
[7] Cockalorum – little man with an unduly high opinion of self (yo, Skombolis again!).
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/cockalorum
[8] Crepehanger – One who always looks at the bad side of things and is morbid or gloomy (yo, Clearwater).
http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/...
[9] Janiform – two-faced
http://www.lexic.us/definition-of/janiform
[10] Snollygoster – an unprincipled person
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sno...
Very good. LOLOL!

You need to read what I said, and then comprehend that.

Even the post above speaks to your mindset in the original post you're so desperately trying to distance yourself from, because, as you can see, the post above offers three options that >you?< think might make a person thirsty.

Are you now going to claim two of the options given above for thirst are nonsense?

You made that post and the other one.

Own them.

Hi Ep,
If you mean on Topix, one only need look to the right of the avatars - I registered Oct. 2009, Duane July 2011; but we both predate that as unregistered posters, myself by at least a year, don't know how long Duane did.
As far as posting on this thread I began a year before Duane.
As for the 'matter', why seek a consensus of collective memories when one can search for a reference in print, like "chapter and verse" :)
It's not as labourious as one might think and, would be more concrete.
Maybe a "Topix Squatter" will do it for you if asked, for a small fee, of course(LOL)....
Hey , this could be the start of a whole new enterprise....
Hey thanks Jack....Nah.....I have stated what I have had to say....I'm not going back to find anything.....

I don't really care anymore....Time to move on....
