P.S. Heard you were having tests, and hope the results are what you were hoping they would be :)
The bible is a "perfect way of looking at life"?

Since when was murder, rape, rapist-victim-marriage, incest, theft, mass murder, slavery, and so on a "perfect way of looking at life"?

What did you put in your coffee this morning that made you say such a delusional thing?

<quoted text>As unbelievers you (now we) are automatically a liar, a thief and deserving of death. The Bible says so. No trial, no evidence. Just the disbelief itself justifies their hatred, scorn and in some cases killing of the unbeliever. The exact extent depends on the particular blood cult's rules.

"Death to the unbelievers! God wills it!" has been uttered by hundreds of millions of "Godly men" over the last 1700 years right up to the present day. Only secular laws and governments have prevented them from committing atrocities in most countries.
Even then, it still didn't stop them if they got too uncomfortable.
One example is the Inquisition.

One a side note, off-topic, but somehow I remembered this:
I saw a black man toting a confederate flag proudly.
I guess it's not completely irrelevant, for that kind of blatant stupidity is very close to that of many of the "Christians" here.

I'm going to supply a couple of bible passages here.
34) He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.(Deuteronomy 32:4)
48) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.(Matthew 5:48)
You used, "In the beginning", from the bible. You don't have to say it in your own words, in that you supplied that snippet, and in doing so, the claim was made for you.
It's your religion. It's your belief.
<quoted text>
I did answer your question.
First of all, your deity belief is from your bible. That bible unambiguously states your deity is perfect.
Second, you included, "In the beginning", in your post, so you were obviously referencing the bible.
Let me say this again; That bible unambiguously states your deity is perfect.
You have said your deity is perfect whether you knew it or not by believing in the deity, which is outlined in the bible, which you believe, too.
I answered your question.
<quoted text>
hahahaaaa
Man.
That's the only answer you're gonna get, because it is an answer and it addresses what you asked. You either believe what your bible says about your deity or you don't.
It's your religion. It's your deity. It's your belief.
Go ahead, tell you what, you "won" this one.
It isn't worth the effort.
Your ego is in the way.

<quoted text>I have never called anybody's place of work, or the company they are employed by in my life, regarding that person, except I may had done that years ago as part of my duties working for a large bank in obtaining confirmation of the information that a loan applicant had provided me.

If someone did call the place of work of the person, which I think you are referring to, it was not me. I did call Social Services early last year because a lot of reports were coming to this site, that were stating they know the individual, and that the person is indeed mentally ill, as several here, including myself, had suggested, based on that person's very strange behavior on this site.

Contacting Social Services about anyone has no effect on the person called about, except if Social Services themselves follow up on that call, and investigate that person to see if there is any basis for their concern. SS never gave me any indication, that they had looked into the situation at all, which I suspect is proper behavior on their part, because that would be affecting the confidentiality of their work,

Since the person in question indicated to the people on this site, that no contact had been made with her, from them, it seemed reasonable to assume that either they had not contacted her, or she was lying. Since this particular person has admitted to many lies in the time she has been on this site, it is possible that she might have been contacted and just said she had not. However, I would think that if she had been contacted by SS, it would have had some effect on her behavior on this site, but that is only looking at how I would react in that situation.

The fact that she did contact the police, which is confirmed by her saying she had, plus the fact that she would not have had my name unless she obtained it from someone (which she said was the police) because I had never divulged my name on this site.

No contact was made with anybody by me because of her religious beliefs. That had no bearing on the contacts being made at all, and if that had happened, why would similar contacts not have been made about others, with similar beliefs, on this site (other than the fact that she is likely the only one here who had actually divulged her own name)?

You perhaps should take some care in who you include in a list of things you claim happened to or about this party, as I was not part of several of the things. I made contact with SS by telephone a couple times early in the year, and I contacted the police (which turned out to not be their jurisdiction anyway) requesting advice as to whether such a matter, which I had described to SS should be brought to their attention. They contacted me and requested specific names and addresses for that party, as my initial contact had only generalized the situation without giving the party's name or even what site on the internet that was being discussed.

In a subsequent telephone conversation with the chief of the police, after she had revealed on this site my full name, no mention was made to me about any improprieties on my part. He indicated lack of interest in the situation, and suggested that if anything were to develop due to information that had been given out by his office, he was prepared to deal with that.
Skom is like that person.
He like to lie a lot.

It's good that you believe you shouldn't kill people as witches, but not all Christians believe what you do. They can have faith in any combination of beliefs coming from the same book you follow.
Christians have murdered millions, in the name of Christianity, following their interpretation of the Bible, which they believed by faith was correct.
<quoted text>
What accusation?
The Bible commands someone to kill people as witches. Christians, whether you believe they were supposed to or not, have murdered a whole bunch of people as witches.
I don't care what was intended. People, Christian people, murdered other people, because they thought they were witches, because they had a belief that killing witches was what their imaginary dictator wanted.
I have to correct you, though I doubt you'll listen.

The Bible does not command people to kill witches. What you're reading is a story about other people in ancient times and what THEY did, THEIR rituals.

Some people are stupid and/or gullible enough to think those passages are referring them them in the here and now. Don't be one if them, Tide.

Former Atheists

Professor Antony Flew

NOTE:(He didn't become a Christian, he just changed his mind on God's existence)

"We reject all transcendent supernatural systems, not because we've examined or could have examined each in turn, but because it does not seem to us that there is any good evidence in reason to postulate anything behind or beyond this natural universe," he proclaimed. A key principle of his philosophy was the Socratean concept of "follow the evidence, wherever it leads".

When Flew revealed that he had come to the conclusion that there might be a God after all, it came as a shock to his fellow atheists, who had long regarded him as one of their foremost champions..."

<quoted text>Hey there ~ bit of awhile since you posted this, but just wanted to share this Prayer; in my humble opinion, it is a pick me up Prayer :)
Lord, You came into this earth as our friend and companion, and You continue to sweeten our lives with the gift of human friendship. Your sacrifice for us enables us to forgive friends and to ask for forgiveness, to give strength and to seek strength from them. Strengthen our present friendships and open us to new relationships, in which we may convey Your love, care, and concern to others. Give us discernment to know how to support those we love in troubled times and courage to stand by them in every difficulty. Bless our friends this day with Your presence, support, and favor, and bring us into the circle of friends and family that You gather around Yourself in eternity through Jesus, Your Son. Amen.

P.S. I am not of the Catholic faith, and it is not my religion, but that does not mean that I can not respect that which is extremely respectable, what ever walk of life is being walked, or by who ever is walking the walk :)
Amen, sister.

God bless you.
