Actually it does.
The word translated as "soul" from the Hebrew simply means "a living creature".
I can prove there are living creatures.
The wolves are not in agreement with you.

<quoted text> I disagree with that statement.
You'll likely disagree with this, maybe not.
Truth is a very valuable thing. A lie is something that's only valuable to yourself. Truth is valuable to everyone. There comes a point where if the only thing you have to offer is something that is only valuable to you, then people will eventually not seek you out for what you have to offer.
Learn to be valuable.
That is the import of secularism.
Beyond that, secularism also demands personal accountability. You hold yourself accountable and you are held accountable, always, here and now. No outs. It takes effort to stick to that standard.
I tend to disagree with this next of yours statement too.
<quoted text> That's what it says, doesn't it? Or that's what is claimed it says, anyway.
So yeah, "The Bible teaches us that it's always wrong and that it's immoral", your claim.
But it gives an out in every instance of violating that "always wrong and that it's immoral" message you say is contained there.
Sure, I get that the "final judgment", is the caveat. I also get that a person must be genuinely motivated - framing this in the Christian context - in trying to avoid being, "wrong and immoral".
What worth is a moral message that gives an out, and only rewards or punishes after death, to the people that are left behind in life or living, dealing with those that violate that message, assured they need only ask forgiveness or repent in order to regain morality, after death?
That is the goal in the biblical message, reward after death.
Don't you see the harm that can be fostered in a system such as that?
"Oh Lord!, forgive me for I have sinned!... and um..while I'm here, I'm probably gonna sin later tonight too, a lot. You've said yourself it's impossible to avoid it ... just so you know, like a heads up, Lord, we'll talk later... just you and me... no one else ever needs to know...THANK YOU, LORD! THE AFTERLIFE IS GONNA BE GREAT!"
you have stated the problem, but so gently that the ignorant christian will not "get it"

subsitutional atonement - an immoral concept

They didn't have guns, crossbows, steel swords, horses, metal armor nor antibodies against European diseases.
I think that screwed them more than some deity.

They did however have penchant for ritual murder.
Which was subsequently cured , by murdering all of them.

So what's your point?
You act like B.C. and A.D. has something to do with the Bible or God. There is no paradox because B.C. and A.D. have nothing to do with the Bible. Nor do they have anything to do with the actual birth date of Jesus Christ.
And as far as Satan goes. He doesn't blink an eye when it comes to you because he has you exactly where he wants you.
Says who? Excuses - Excuses - Excuses !

It's your book. Not mine!

By the way- Satan told me he only exists because god is too weak to defeat him!

Among God's curses on people who won't obey his commandments is the following: "And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee." (Deuteronomy 28:53)

Here we go again. More child-eating. Disgusting!

Since the Israelites were not supposed to "work" on the Sabbath day, a man who was caught picking up sticks (presumably for firewood, but who cares?) was ordered directly by God to be stoned to death.(Numbers 15:33-36)

For another infraction there was another slaughter. "And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun." (Numbers 25:4)

Heads. More heads. But not in baskets this time.

I guess the severed heads were hung up on tree branches or something.(Strange Fruit?.)

If a son is stubborn, rebellious, a glutton and a drunkard he shall be stoned to death.

(Deuteronomy 21:20-21) "Witches" are to be stoned to death.(Leviticus 20:27) So witches really do exist - according to the Bible.

Homosexuals must be murdered.(Leviticus 20:13) and (Romans 1:2632)

You should beat your children with rods.(Proverbs 23:13,14) A king offers his oldest son as a "burnt offering." (2 Kings 3:27)

Too insane to warrant anything other than contempt.

That is inherantly flawed, as one person's idea of morality is different than the next. And with that phylosophy there's no copmass to determine what is and what is not ethical, justice and moral.
Argument from ignorance.

ALL morality is subjective, including religious morality.

Secular Humanism is rationally derived, making it superior.
