It is! We're honest about religion to our kids. You guys prefer fiction.
You don't have kids, how are you honest to nothing?

You can remain ignorant, I don't care.

Yes, empathy is a virtue. I include it under compassion.
Several of these comprise multiple component virtues. For example, integrity encompasses telling the truth, not stealing, not backstabbing, keeping promises, etc..
oK! I MISS WORD COMPASSION, I READ TO FAST. THAT SETTLE IT.:)

No kidding! I had no idea.
Does it follow the logic of myth that Yahweh then had a son who's supposed to be a deity of peace?
Did Yahweh have a son b/c he wanted to start a new chapter in his life? You know, take care of a kid, prevent him from having sex, and hopefully watch him tortured to death at the hands of soldiers, that kind of thing.
Maybe instead of just agreeing with a skeptic, you should check their research before agreeing with them. I've found that they're usually wrong.

I sleep in comfort choosing Jesus Christ. I don't lose any sleep rejecting Zeus or Mohammed or Vishnu or Buddha or any other gods.
If you can sleep comfortable at night being an atheist, then you have truly figured out how to enjoy life.
And when death comes, it comes :)
Ah, sweet, thanks :)

She said "WE". I am with her on that so you are once again in error.

Don't bother admitting it, we know how humility is an abomination to you.

1. He's constantly demonstrated more knowledge about Christian theology and religious history than me.
2. Very few people here can match his level.
3. I find reading the Christian mythology text - and most other ones, too - in any capacity overwhelmingly boring and I'm not going to do it.
3a. So I just don't care enough to develop an opinion based on my own readings, plus the thoughts of scholars who've read the material, etc. I'll just align my understanding to someone I've identified as a great source.

I can't stand when I see distracted drivers. I see it every day. Ugh.
Do you remember the kids' fad when those virtual pet things came out? At the time, I had to pass a school every day as it was letting out. The kids were transfixed by and it would just walk into the street without looking. I hated driving through it.
Oh Gawd I totally remember that stupid thing. It's worse now, though. I live near a school and get off of work right about the same time as school lets out. I gotta be real careful around those brain dead kids.
