Hmm, what about words like "sky daddy" and "invisible man in the sky" when referring to God that are thrown at Christians everyday. And how about slurs like "christards" and "xtians" when refering to Christians that are thrown at Christians in here. Should Christians take those slurs on the chin and not care le_le? Because it happens everyday in here and not a single person bats an eye about it, including you le_le you two faced hypocrite.
Professing christians are to be laughed at!

Pretend christians are so funny, but at the same time sad.

Talking to dead people, or seeing humanlike creature floating across the room is not christianity.

You and those like you, never comment on fabricated experience's regarding christianity. Therefore some christians should be laughed at.

Too funny!!!
IANS was an orderly and not a doctor?

Do you know what state is looking for him or was it a federal crime?

Do you know what crime that he committed? I think I must have skipped too many posts. I only recently read that he lived in Mexico.

People using derogatory words for people they simply don't like.
People trying to blame others for their own actions, for they cannot accept responsibility.
People attacking other people simply because they've called out such ugly behaviour.
And so on.
Just look at how Serah, a person who seemed to be a decent human being, has ceased to be so.

Christians hate atheists, and their role model is a murderous god that takes vengeance.

You're a Christian to me. Anybody that defends the church from its critics is. What else would matter to an unbeliever like me that I should define you any other way?

This the kind of posting that exposes your bias. You have no other reason to post like this to me other than that I am a harsh critic of the Christian church. None of the humanists treat me like you Christians and stealth Christians do.
The only thing I'll say to this is I defend the person and their right to believe what they want to, not the church.

If you dont see it it is because you dont want to.

Good morning Lacez!

First...don't worry about that being normal thing...life would be so boring without diversity. Besides...whose normal would we they choose? I personally like uniqueness.

I don't think that your above post is unique to Christians. I believe any group will respond as you described when they feel threatened. IMO it is a human trait and even one that can be found in the animal world.

There are many Christians out here that would not attack...many have the grace to keep their opinions to themselves...many that don't even feel that way about people outside their faith or the gay community.

I think there are some here that would not participate in these attacks (from both sides of the aisle) in real life...there is safety in numbers...gang mentality...and this being a place where there is a captive audience along with the fact that there are few if any consequences for any words spoken.

I certainly understand your frustration. I have posted on this thread for a long time now...I call some of them friend. At times...that has been difficult. That is a totally different subject however.

I don't know...this making everybody "normal" made me think of this movie...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_from_Br...

it is based off of actual events...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10800...

I can't help but think that this is what happens when we leave it up to man to decide what is "normal".

I am of the thinking that there is a bit of "un-normal" in all of us. I am okay with that.

<quoted text>Hey! I used to give my second husband a home "spa day" whenever he started looking rough around the edges. I'd massage him from head to toe, do his nails and bathe him like a baby, condition his hair and end with massaging him again with a nice oil or lotion. He thought it was too sissy to go to a real spa too but I wanted him looking and feeling good. I like cowboys and cavemen but there's a limit to what I'm willing to be seen with in public and crappy nails are taboo in my opinion.
I got nothin against getting a massage, they are needed for most of us that work physically.

But manicures? Pedicures? Bubble baths?

Hell no.

I usually just chew off my finger nails and clip the toe nails. I don't use that finger nail sanding thing, what's it called?

IMO, men's hands are supposed to be a little rough around the edges.

Dirty? No. Rough? Yes.

<quoted text>I think it is a bit rude of G having a go at anyone and how they are bringing up their children.....
My Grandchildren were pulling weeds yesterday and last holidays, we planted seeds and plantlings. Good to see kids getting some dirt on their hands and getting involved with GOD by seeing the results of the seeds that GOD first planted.
I have never smacked my Grandchildren, never had the need; if I raise my voice and say "Oi Oi Oi" loudly, they stop what they are doing. Come in handy a few times, especially when one was nearly going to cut his hand and when the little one (he was about 18 months old then) nearly put a plastic baseball bat full pelt into our last TV, among other situations.
Did smack my kids a few times, and we still talk about the time they went door knocking and hiding, something a lot of kids do. The lady came down and told me what had happened, and I asked them if they did it. Normally, I would laugh at this, probably did it myself as a kid, but I asked them out of respect to the lady and they all said no. I knew they were lying, so re-asked my son, the youngest of the trio, and he said no, but if they did they would have said they were sorry.
I asked him if he said he was sorry and he said no, but he was going to. Their friend who was going to sleep the night but lied, was sent home and my two were taken inside and had 1 whack each on the hand with a ruler. There is no problem at all with the 3 of us discussing this, nor is there any issue when we talk about how I would say "show me your tongue" if I knew they were lying, and would say there is a black lie on their tongue and I can see they are lying.
That had them baffled for years; but when I finally let them in on the secret, letting them know it was something I learned from their Nana, and it was knowledge and not sight guiding me, they appreciated my lesson. Responsible children are usually responsible adults :)
Be careful. You'll get some ignorant jerk like Catcher calling you a child abuser for smacking your kids....
