Well I guess if the regret is taken for granted the apology would no longer be necessary. It becomes more of a common sense thing when you know someone well. I do it more as a respect thing really. I know friends of mine know I would feel bad about certain things if I acted poorly towards them but still feels like I owe them the acknowledgement. Although the conversations would normally be pretty short. Like,
"hey man, about earlier..."
"Yeah I know brother. It's cool"
And then that would be that
With strangers that wouldn't know if it would bother me or not, I am probably more likely to put some effort into it
<quoted text>
I don't like it
But I don't find Lacez as a particularly sympathetic figure as I feel he came here to stir just this kind of stuff up.
But that's about all I care to discuss about it. But I'm sure you know me well enough at this point where the actual conversation isn't required

The knowing one another.

Is that the key?

I don't know HU. I don't know Lacez. I know very few people here.

What I do know is this: Calling Lacez a phaggot was a stupid thing to do. It's just plain hurtful. Just like when BT called HFY a c*nt was the wrong thing to do. It's stupid and it's juvenile and and it show's that somebody is taking this too seriously.

BT apologized and I applaud him for that.

HU needs to do the same.

I think he/she will. Don't you?

Dang, she is pretty sexy too. I obviously know the name but I guess I never knew what she looked like
I like your taste in music. Pretty much your style in general:)
My Mom gave me the River nickname.

I think it had something to do with urination. Sometimes, you just have to go.

I don't think you're supposed to say suicide among the faithful...

'passed away suddenly', is the preferred euphamism I believe.

I think it would have been better to let it run its natural course

This turns it more into a power issue. Trying to embarrass or judge someone into an apology almost makes it meaningless to make one now. And if anything I think it may prompt someone not to apology that otherwise may have

But I can say this. I remember a time a while back when hu got into a heated exchange with someone who happened to be black and he at a point where he got angry he used a word he should not have. But to his credit when he came back he apologized to the person and explained he was simply looking for a way to strike back and does not really feel that way

And with some of the things people have turned a blind-eye to in here that have been said by fellow atheists, well it makes calling hu out for many atheists in here beyond hypocritical.

I have seen you as one of the few that will call some things both ways. But I still think if you truly wanted to know you should have waited to see.

Just my honest opinion

I don't remember saying anything about atheists.

Calling Lacez a phaggot was wrong.

I know that. it just is.

I know that. I know that. I know that.

So do you.

What he did before he called Lacez a phaggot is not important because that happened before he called Lacez a phaggot.

Do you understand that?

Do you really know hurtful words can be?

RR effed this one up and he can't find any dictionary definitions to get him out of it.

It is fun to watch him squirm though.

Compare a human grieving for their dead to an elephant's grieving.
Um ya.
I don't never tell the complete all of this story very much. Not everything. Sometimes I leave out stuff, cut it short, you know, depends. Rips me in half when I do. This isn't all.

Two of the best dogs I ever had, Ham and Savannah, were out doing their normal mud hole dive, then run to the river, swim and play, then come out clean as could be. Shiny after drying in the sun. They did it every day like clockwork. I lived way out back then.

So, anyway...

Someone shot them both. It killed Savannah right then and there I'm pretty sure, and Ham took a .30 FMJ to the ridge above his eye and it deflected down, lodging next to his inner ear. Took his left eye completely out. Just a raw gaping hole. One went into his rib cage, and another bullet, in the ribs as well. One of the bullets, skimmed along his head, through an ear(like a hole puncher did it) and left a laser like scar before it went into his ribs.

I got out every day and called for them, walked the hills and ridges and every place I knew they went. For a week and a couple days, I'd get up in morning twilight before work and call and call and listen because it'd be so quiet, hoping I'd hear something, and every afternoon, I'd walk till sunset, looking and calling. I was just about to give up. Then on Saturday he found me.

It was awful. Eye gone and suppurating. Swollen lumps/holes on his rib cage where the other bullets had hit and lodged. Bloodstained, dirty and looked like hell. He was skin and bones. He weighed 109 lbs when he was normal and just right. Like the last I'd seen them.

He was 84 lbs when I got him to the Vet that evening.

He had stayed right there with Savannah, and you could see where he'd tried to drag her and get her up, and he slept on her or next to her every night. Never left her.

He walked over to me, wobbling, sat, and raised a paw to shake my hand. I did. Then we walked to her, and he laid next to her. Silent as could be. Just looking at me. Forlorn.

Makes me tear even now.

I haven't ever saw a human grieve like that.

I sat there and cried with him for I dunno how long.

This is kind of a recurring theme for you, isn't it Serah? As I said, you worship at the altar of guilt, blame and shame.

But you come by it honestly. Your bible is nonstop guilt, blame, and shame, and you have been skillfully indoctrinated with it.

How can you find word association so hilarious?

Yes some words have two means. And some words sound like words with different meanings. And yes people sometimes make typos.

Mad-libs is like porn to you isn't it?

And you say that IANS is the troll?

Not just for quoting the Bible for four years but making fun of people for being against the death penalty while claiming you couldn't sleep at night if you believed God didn't save unrepentant child molesters

People would have to care what you believed for you to be the enemy

I don't know anyone who does. In fact my only request is that you simply be honest about what you believe. I would have no problems with that
Why such vitriol towards her?
Is it because you're jealous?
