Yeah, and there's a good explanation for that, Grace.
Superman was created back in the Thirties by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who were still @ school in Cleveland then.

There's a chance they were influenced by Christian teachings in creating their character.

Child molestation and pedophilia occur far more commonly among homosexuals than among heterosexuals on a per capita basis, according to a new study.
Overwhelming evidence supports the belief that homosexuality is a sexual deviancy often accompanied by disorders that have dire consequences for our culture,” wrote Steve Baldwin in,“Child Molestation and the Homosexual Movement,” soon to be published by the Regent University Law Review.
Baldwin is the executive director of the Council for National Policy in Washington, D.C.
“It is difficult to convey the dark side of the homosexual culture without appearing harsh,” wrote Baldwin.“However, it is time to acknowledge that homosexual behavior threatens the foundation of Western civilization – the nuclear family.”
Though the homosexual community and much of the media scoff at such accusations, Baldwin – who chaired the California Assembly’s Education committee, where he fought against support for the homosexual agenda in the state’s public schools – says in his report that homosexual activists’“efforts to target children both for their own sexual pleasure and to enlarge the homosexual movement” constitute an “unmistakable” attack on “the family unit.”
Baldwin’s research is substantiated in a recently completed body of work written by Dr. Judith Reisman, president of the Institute for Media Education and author of numerous authoritative books debunking sexual myths, including “Kinsey, Crimes & Consequences.”
In her thesis – also written for the Regent University Law Review – Reisman cited psychologist Eugene Abel, whose research found that homosexuals “sexually molest young boys with an incidence that is occurring from five times greater than the molestation of girls.…”
Abel also found that non-incarcerated “child molesters admitted from 23.4 to 281.7 acts per offender … whose targets were males.”
“The rate of homosexual versus heterosexual child sexual abuse is staggering,” said Reisman, who was the principal investigator for an $800,000 Justice Department grant studying child pornography and violence.“Abel’s data of 150.2 boys abused per male homosexual offender finds no equal (yet) in heterosexual violations of 19.8 girls.”

You say that pedophile homosexuals molest children more frequently than non-pedophile homosexuals? Imagine that.

How about pedophile heterosexuals? Do they molest children more or less frequently that non-pedophile heterosexuals?

I don't know, did you read that story about Superman when he is drunk?

He may be handsome but the guy is a jerk when he drinks!

" Two men are sitting drinking at a bar at the top of the Empire State Building, when the first man turns to the other and says "You know, last week I discovered that if you jump from the top of this building, the winds around the building are so intense that by the time you fall to the 10th floor, they carry you around the building and back into a window". The bartender just shakes his head in disapproval while wiping the bar.

The second guy says, "What, are you nuts? There's no way that could happen. "No, its true," the first man says. "Let me prove it to you." He gets up from the bar, jumps over the balcony, and plummets toward the street below. As he nears the 10th floor, the high winds whip him around the building and back into the 10th floor window and he takes the elevator back up to the bar.

He meets the second man, who looks quite astonished. "You know, I saw that with my own eyes, but that must have been a one time fluke." "No, I'll prove it again," says the first man as he jumps again. Just as he is hurtling toward the street, the 10th floor wind gently carries him around the building and into the window. Once upstairs he urges his fellow drinker to try it.

"Well, why not." the second guy says, "It works. I'll try it." He jumps over the balcony, plunges downward passes the 11th, 10th 9th, 8th, floors..... and hits the sidewalk with a SPLAT.

Back upstairs the bartender turns to the other drinker and says, "You know Superman, you're a real jerk when you're drunk".

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work.
And Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it; because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made [...] It is also a part of the ten commandments. I tend to wonder if believers are breaking this commandment how many will make it to heaven???
One day, the reason why the bible's authors added that strange passage about an omniscient god taking the seventh day to rest occurred to me. Go back a few millennia, before the advent of the weekend, when all able bodied people worked every day, and were undoubtedly chastised if they didn't.

Now, add organized religion. It wants you to get on your camel and come to it with your shekels once a week. If work is considered sacred and holy, how can they get you to take a day off and come to the collection plate? Simple. Make taking a day off once a week just like the god even holier. In fact, make it a Commandment.

Here's something else you may have never noticed: days, months and years are all astronomical cycles, but weeks were invented, and I think I just told you the reason. Ka-ching!

Superman was an alien immigrant, and like a diaspora Jew, he was forced to leave his starry home (a threatened Krypton) to find a new life amongst strangers in a strange land (Earth). Later, he would again leave his home (Smallville) to live in the Arctic wilderness (ensconced inside the Fortress of Solitude). And then for a third time he would leave his Arctic home to live in a bustling urban city (Metropolis) going about his heavenly Father's (Jor-El's) work. Likewise, Jesus left his celestial home in the heavens to come to the Earth realm. Later, he left his rural home Nazareth (an ancient Smallville) to wander through desert wildernesses, followed by missionary work throughout the Roman-dominated world while doing his heavenly Father's (Yahweh's) work..
LOL...It doesn't bother anybody if you want to compare Jesus to superman..Notice the similarities??? Have a good night Mark

Actually is it saying when acts of child molesting take place, it is way more likely to be an adult man committing the abuse to a male child and not a female child.

In other words, same-sex abuse is much more common in pedophiles than heterosexual child-abuse

It would suggest gay men are much more likely to molest children than straight men

I personally don't know if this is true or if straight and gay applies to pedophiles as it is something I have not thought about. I have always considered pedophiles in a class by themselves

But if it is true, it would raise an interesting question as what makes homosexual men so much more likely to be pedophiles? We really don't have a lot of answers on what makes someone a pedophile. We know some of it is abused becomes abusers. Or some may be born that way. But nobody really knows for sure when it comes to the full spectrum.

But if pedophilia is learned behavior in some cases than is it possible homosexuality is as well. We have seen examples of this in prisons.

But if there is any possible link to learned behavior other than past abuse, unfortunately there is no way not to pursue it and to try to find out more.

If this information is correct, which I don't know as I haven't taken the time to read it let alone confirm it. But it is something we would need to know either way

If there is a link and disproportionately so, we need to know why

That is just a brutal fact
