Of course that wouldn't work. God doesn't *poof* things for you, as atheists would like to imagine.
He teaches you, guides you, helps you along. Usually without you even knowing it.
Great post RR.....

Mexico comfortable? If that's code for relatively young, healthy, no money problems, happily married, living in paradise, and having all day free to play, then I guess I am. We count ourselves blessed. Thanks for asking.
It no code, it just means you are living in Mexico!

But I do hear people compare Mexico to paradise all the time

But i am glad to hear you are rolling in pesos!

Bums also have all day to play free and they get to live in America!

LOL

We might even be able to help you out there. Can do housework?
The only thing worse than living in Mexico would be living there with you! And I am am pretty sure everything where you live need s a thorough cleaning! But no thanks, you can keep your "paradise" of burros and taquitos

I doubt you know how to work anything in the bedroom!

But hey, you still got your Mexican paradise, that;s something right?

That must be nice knowing that they care so much about all of you. I'm sure that you benefit from having a clear head for whatever mind numbing and soul crushing work you do.
Actually my job is pretty easy and i get to listen to American radio while working. What do you listen to? 2 neighbors and a donkey doing the Mexican hat dance?

LOL

LOL
I did have a nice birthday and I did behave. I did :)

I was thinking that I can't be dismissed as a "school girl" anymore. I noticed that some people like to use that as a detrimental remark.

If I don't hold back anymore, will you still like me?

Meh

You did good

You get yourself a big sombrero and a nice cervesa and take yourself an old man siesta

Just don't dream of waking up in America cause you will be really disappointed when you wake up

Liar.
Physicians don't put bracelets on patients.
Some do. I was in the hospital in Feb. and a physician did just that to me. A few years ago a patient was at a hospital in Tampa and cut the wrong arm off. As I said, doctors are just people and do make mistakes. Now to try to ensure that doesn't happen again more checks have been put in place and better communication between doctors and patients is encourgaged.

Yep

Patients need to get more involved and people have to stop assuming these doctors are infallible

In cases where the patients are elderly it becomes all the more scary as mistakes have greater consequences and the communication is not as great

My heart goes out to some people who don't have family around watching out for them as many become a number in an overburdened system

Rebuke does sound like a harsh word. I know when it first started to be commonly used I thought so. I think Christians use the word more because it is biblical but obviously just means to correct someone.
And while if done in a condescending way I can understand why it would be perceived as negative as adults should be on par with one another. But to me when done the right way it is nothing more than saying "hey I think what you are doing is wrong"
And we should be able to do that. Do I discourage discussion? No. But IMHO sometimes it is not required or even necessary. Adults shouldn't have to soft-shoe around each other. Yes there are times when I appeal to a friendship or preface something by saying I am not trying to be confrontational or will try to get a discussion going if I think it will be beneficial. But other times to me there is nothing that has to come first and we can just tell someone "hey, what you are doing is wrong"
Topix has become too much ass-kissing and "hey man if you don't mind me telling that maybe you know if you could kinda sorta just do this maybe just a wee bit different it would be absolutely perfect"
You know what I am saying? I am not that kind of person. If I think its wrong I will say so.
Now don't get me wrong, that approach has its drawbacks obviously. But one of them certainly won't be enabling
I think it just depends on the situation and which approach is required. Sometimes discussion is a better start and sometime the rebuke is.
JMO anyway
(T) Peace
But when people are in a heated discussion....they certainly don't (or won't) take the "Hey Bro....I think you need to....."as a loving Godly suggestion....They usually lash out at that person too.
All the years that Deb has been here...her "calling" has been to show the person professing to be a follower of Christ to show more Christ like words or actions.....And 9 times out of 10 they tear into her.....Because their heart is not ready to hear it.....

Words are one thing.....Action in GODS Love is another.

Do you see what I am saying Steve-o?

How about you
btw when you responded to this:

"How about you? How are you doing? What time do you have to be at work?"

By posting this:

"crickets
Ouch.
Sorry, man. That must be rough. I think that my bedroom clock has an alarm built into it, but I wouldn't know how to work the darned thing."

That was all you! You wrote both parts and got your quotes wrong

So when you were copying the text, you responded to your own questions by making cricket sounds and saying ouch!

I feel like you don't even need me any more! But if you want to play both roles and make fun of yourself I won't interfere!

Maybe when you are done though you can tell me how good you are at paying attention to details and why you wouldn't make mistakes?

Ians Ians Ians

Too much funny for this early in the morning

You hang in there, I got a feeling you are about to go on a roll:)
