Funny that you mention the land of Canaan.
When the Israelites left Egypt and crossed, lol, the sea of Reeds, their destination was Canaan.
BUT....
The land of Canaan was under Egyptian jurisdiction at that time.

My question is:
Why would the Hebrew god lead his people out of Egypt and place them square into Egypt again?

Thank you for that respectful post. I say seek for whatever you wish to but take what you find for what it seems rather than what others, who will not know any more than you (in most cases) say for it, just because they say so.
I agree

Oops. Yes, you're right. I meant 2nd millennium, not century.
And Genesis dates back to the 6th millennium.
Ok, I caught this post and see that you have made an honest mistake about the dating of the Mesopotamian Enuma Elish?

However...

You say that the book of Genesis datesd back to the 6th millenia BC?

LOL

You don't really need to keep giving lip service to freedom of speech. You obviously have no respect for the concept. Does anybody doubt that you would forbid it if you had the power?
And I don't doubt that when the time comes some of you will serve your purpose. Soon the hate that fills your heart will end. Thankful.

You know, something that you wrote somewhat puzzles me.
Why did the god that you worship create a man, Adam, with a penis?
He was there all alone.
If he got an erection, what did he do?
Probably the same thing you and I do.

Nah, sometimes that god dude is outright nasty.

Like when he sends over tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, childhood leukemia, stuff like that.

Not in this world.
Unless you mean that he dropped his religion when he died, that would make sense on some level.

If you mean before he started the holocaust and the world war, then you are lying through your teeth.
He did those things in the name of god.

<quoted text>Well at least we have something in common; I don't like hearing your BS either. Strange to me how these lots of facts and evidence has not been shared by you really, instead, you try to annoy people. Why? Ok, don't bother answering that, it's not that important. Your spiritual being being blocked and locked up is a reason for you being this way, unable to seperate spiritual fact from fiction. You only live in the physical and understand the physical, so we really don't expect you to understand or accept anything we say or declare in the spiritual.

:)

Counter_Strike.
Oh dear, you held up on your threat; you're still posting these long comments that I'll just skim through.

If asked to provide evidence for my claims, I'll do so.
Whereas you will be unable to.

Why do you think that your beliefs should be held above the rights of every other person?

What is the value of belief, outside of the person believing?
Typically, belief is expressed verbally...are there any other ways to express belief?
Hello mike :) I remember you sometimes ask good questions. I think this is one of the better ones. In my oppinion, if belief doesn't bring about actions that support that belief, it's not much good. I think that the best way to express belief is to act upon them. Many say I believe, but not as many act on what they say they believe. It is easy to say I believe I should love everyone including those who don't see things as I do. But my action or words to those who don't would exspress my belief better than me just saying it. Just some of my thoughts on the matter :)
