Do you really think that if God really existed, which you don't know, even if you claim to know, and He had the characteristics that you associate with that God, that he would give any attention at all to a lowly human such as myself for "bashing Him", which I don't do anyway, because I can't bash someone or something that I have no knowledge of it existing.<quoted text>
I don't know your definition of Christian basher , but yes Booots is definetly a basher. It does not matter to us Christians if Booots bashes US (which he does), But he bashes our 'Heavenly Father calling Him -Imaginery, doesn't exist, and several other bashing words.
It appears you believe him, and really like what he says about GOD.
Maybe God is 'Imaginery to you too.
You said 'he's not telling anyone to not believe----Do you really think we would listen to his advice if he were ? Booots could not tell us anything when it concerns 'Our Heavenly Father.
Yes ,there are BASHERS of GOD on here , including Mr. BOOOTS.
It seems always that believers get themselves all tied up in knots over what we 'atheists' say about something we don't even believe exists, as if our saying those things would harm this entity in some way.
It strikes me as more likely that people do not want us to ask questions or refute false statements because your faith (meaning anyone who responds that way) is so weak that you fear it will falter if we don't stop making logical rational true statements.
I can't speak for others here, but I try to always post things that can't be proved false, as I am a bit shy about being caught making mistakes. I have always been a perfectionist, and even in school (and I think I have told this before) if a teacher gave me 99% on a test paper, and I found a question that she has forgot to mark, I would go after her for the extra mark, because I don't want to be not given credit for what I actually did, even if my mark she had already given me was 20% higher than anyone else in the class (that actually happened to me in high school and likely more than once).
My performance record after my school days unfortunately was never as good as it was in school. As far as the false signs of a person's worth, my high school days were my best days in my life, though personally I would not want to relive them. My social life was the pits, because the brain in the class is usually not that popular, and being very shy I also had no girlfriends in high school, though I did ask a couple girls to attend school dances with me, and they did.
Having said that, I was engaged to be married by the halfway mark of second year university and married in the summer before my fourth year. I separated from my wife just shortly after our 31st anniversary and had another steady girlfriend within 2 months after that, and was living with her most of the time for 6 years from about 4 months after my separation.
I was still working towards trying to get my 2nd partner, who had cheated on me, back when I met my current wife, and my current wife and I moved in together on our 2nd date which was about 4 days after our first date, and we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in March this year.
A bit of irrational behavior during that period between my 2nd and 3rd partners, but it has turned out for the best in the long run.
I can see that this post has run way off the track that it started on, but I do that a lot.
