Well I see that you conveniently left out the part of my post that would explain a good reason I called the gang Pathetic and just used the part of my post that might make someone feel sorry for you.
I have noticed that IANS pulls that little trick too.
Here it is HL:
I said,“Oh and trying to threaten someone is not about the subject either. It didn’t work though. These guys, the gang, are pathetic and that is putting it nicely.”
There you have an example as to why the gang is pathetic. And that is just one example.
What would really be sad is if you really didn’t know the answers to your questions.
Have a good day or night, which ever it is where you are at.

Proverbs 29

1 Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes
will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.
2 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice;
when the wicked rule, the people groan.
3 A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father,
but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
4 By justice a king gives a country stability,
but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.
5 Those who flatter their neighbors
are spreading nets for their feet.
6 Evildoers are snared by their own sin,
but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
7 The righteous care about justice for the poor,
but the wicked have no such concern.
8 Mockers stir up a city,
but the wise turn away anger.
9 If a wise person goes to court with a fool,
the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
10 The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity
and seek to kill the upright.
11 Fools give full vent to their rage,
but the wise bring calm in the end.
12 If a ruler listens to lies,
all his officials become wicked.
13 The poor and the oppressor have this in common:
The Lord gives sight to the eyes of both.
14 If a king judges the poor with fairness,
his throne will be established forever.
15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom,
but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.
16 When the wicked thrive, so does sin,
but the righteous will see their downfall.
17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace;
they will bring you the delights you desire.
18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
19 Servants cannot be corrected by mere words;
though they understand, they will not respond.
20 Do you see someone who speaks in haste?
There is more hope for a fool than for them.
21 A servant pampered from youth
will turn out to be insolent.
22 An angry person stirs up conflict,
and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.
23 Pride brings a person low,
but the lowly in spirit gain honor.
24 The accomplices of thieves are their own enemies;
they are put under oath and dare not testify.
25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
26 Many seek an audience with a ruler,
but it is from the Lord that one gets justice.
27 The righteous detest the dishonest;
the wicked detest the upright.

I'm 39 years old today. Anyway being a child of the 80s in pop culture men and fathers have been portrayed as a joke for quite some time. At some point it hit me that the real people I've known are nothing like this. My own father worked his ass off to provide a good home and most of my friends dads did the same. But it is having an impact as now many homes have children with no father. Sad indeed. Also with laws that didn't exist when I was in school most teachers can do nothing with unruly kids and the kids know it. I got the ruler once at school and I should have. Today that teacher would either be out of a job or in jail. Sad what it has become.
Happy Birthday Chris!

I got swatted with a ruler that I sort of deserved. I also got hit with the paddle, that one I deserved. LOL

That's probably correct in my case. I've been pretty intolerant of it. And donpt feel the need to offer much respect back, either.

Possibly. I can't really respect that. Do you?

I don't consider any of the arguments I've been involved in pointless. I might if I thought that I was being crushed.

I’m not talking about a rich Church either, just one where the congregation cares.
We're still looking for accounting evidence that such a thing exists. I'd like to see 3000 of them -1%. I haven't seen evidence of even one yet. I'm sure that there must be one audited American church that cares above 50%, although we haven't found one above 7% yet.

Can you help us with that? Can you link us to an audit of any church that spends more on the needy than it does on it itself?

I want you to think about how your church has treated unbelievers for centuries. That's all changing now.

Your Christian opinion is welcome in your home and church. I suggest you consider confining it to those places.

Maybe nowhere.

For future reference, if you want to get along with unbelievers better and remain welcome, try avoiding expressing so much anti-unbeliever sentiment. It's not cool any more.

Hey Law :)
You seem to right, sigh...
I'd like to know what you believe talking in tongues means? Can this be a topic of discussion today? Some Christians, actually, a lot of them, seem to thing it means to babble incoherently. I believe it means that those with the gift of speaking in tongues can speak of the teachings of Jesus in any language in the world, even without prior learning of said language.
I look forward to reading your thoughts.

I’m sorry you are angry HL.. But do you really think that you have not made people in here angry?

Talk about doing the very thing that someone accuses someone else of doing.

After the way you have come in here and treated us you will have to excuse me if I expect more of the same.

And no I did not just want to find fault.

Maybe I had it all wrong. If so I apologize. I’m also sorry but I will have to see what time says about all this.
