Look at how they attempt to speak like us, the crows, dogs, and other species. It's clearly not just a cute trick. They have it in them to want to do it, to will themselves. The only thing challenging them is physiology. So, I wonder if one day they WILL be able to speak like us, if they try hard enough (And they DO try hard). Perhaps evolution can make it possible. This goes to show that non-humans are NOT blank slates. Something has to be "in there" in order for them to learn, and we KNOW they can learn. They understand and they learn.
And Migaloo the White Whale has such a beautiful melody. It's just so eerie and wonderful. I love listening to whale sounds. They give me chills because they're so incredible and astounding.
And yes, those Belugas made me happy. I loved seeing them open their mouths.
I'm happy about the videos you send me!! I appreciate them so much!! I always add them all to my Favorites list.
GOD BLESS YOU!!

Another very interesting link, thanx NAOP!
I grew up with dolphins, and that why I liked the beluga Whales too.

I believe humans underestimate too much about all that's created that is still being discovered by them, more so than any creature has to know about us to evolve further. Where 'L~O~V~E' is shown toward them they prove their ability in speaking with us mind to mind, and through their actions. Humans are the dumb ones who cannot recognized this without a sound value to speech being present.

To finally even believe that insects have a consciousness is a bit dumb really when humans have needed them to learn from! It is all one big beautiful and amazingly accurate space we share with these creatures who called earth home before we did... and I never cease to wonder at it all.
I am happy to share my Friend when I can.
Stay happy and well, for God has blessed you in abundant ways!

I hope you caught up on your much needed rest Sister Friend... when care giving, it can be draining, but looking back very rewarding when we know we gave it our very best shot, Ja? It's like everything in Life, leaving us know we have no regrets. For God does not expect nor ask more from us than our best.

I've posted this before. Even in antiquity, plagiarism was recognized and sometimes punished. Didn't have to be an academic or journalist:

Are you goig to stone gays and burn witches, too ?

WTF does Ehrman have to do with anything ? You didn't quote anything of his.

So they proved things to you, they have not done so for me nor have you.
I don't know what you're talking about ...something must of been lost in the translation.

I never ask any of them to prove anything. My point was; I am what I say and have at least two verifiable & trusted witnesses, and a third willing to extend the benefit of the doubt.

Why is it you feel that others should prove anything to you?

Why are you always seeking recognition for your own claimed accomplishments?

If you want to share an occurrence in your life ...fine, share. But you come across as one seeking a prize. What makes you think anyone here is interested in paying you homage to look at pictures of shingles, cars, and toys? Why do you do that?
To follow your reasoning we should believe every that God exists and Jesus rose from the dead because we are told it is so by people who claim to have "seen" and/or "know".
What you describe is the premise behind the principle of Faith. Many accept that walk. If you don't care to go that way, you don't have to. No one is making anyone believe anything one chooses not to.
As far as Cather goes, if he is an honest lawyer (one of his claims) then he was lying here, if was honest here then he can;t be a real lawyer.
I'm not interested.
No decent lawyer in the world would condemn some one for "intentional fraud" (AKA plagiarism) when no deceit was involved at all.
I'm not stating one doesn't exist, but I've yet to meet a decent attorney. Regardless ...again ...not interested.
On the other hand he could be international "elite" Harvard Don and still be a scumbag.
We all come up short.

By calling me a liar and claiming they are highly qualified.

I have actually proven who and what I am yet they hide like cowards making boasts they can not prove.

If it were people I din't like I wouldn;t care, but these are people I kinda liked. Now I feel like I was lied to and betrayed.

Even in Africa now with family, one day's food supply of ours is another’s one meal.
Not that long since those 10 years on the homeless run, when every 5th day was a great full blessing. Between would have been impossible without feeding off God's Living Bread, and drinking from the fountain head of His supply. A good chance to share that where there was nothing!

No it is not what folks take away from the food basket.Hardtack is a homemade bread, most here do not like homemade breads or other things either they buy from the stores already made and wrapped nicely. When I said they eat with gusto once they sample it with honey and butter they just keep eating and eating.Yes it is a shame the food that is thrown away.
Restaurants here have to destroy after a certain amount of hours.
Again another avenue where mankind falls so short in feeding the hungry. But tis the worldly ways of people of today.God bless lu2

If the height of betrayal in your life is to be found within the halls of Topix, then consider yourself very fortunate.

Yet I'd bet you've survived far worse.

Borrowed this, words of another person.. Some food for thought indeed..

Consider...

• The Jerusalem Factor. Since Jesus was publicly executed and buried in Jerusalem, it would have been impossible for Christianity to begin in Jerusalem while the body was still in the tomb. Christ's enemies in the Jewish leadership and Roman government would only have to exhume the corpse and publicly display it for the hoax of the empty tomb to be shattered.

• The Jewish Response. Rather than point to an occupied tomb, the Jewish leadership accused Christ's disciples of stealing his body. Wouldn't this strategy seem to establish that there was, in fact, an empty tomb and a missing body?1

• The Women's Testimony. In all four Gospel accounts of the empty tomb, women are listed as the primary witnesses. This would be an odd invention, since in both Jewish and Roman cultures women were not esteemed and their testimony was not admissible.

When you understand the role of women in first-century Jewish society, what's really extraordinary is that this empty tomb story should feature women as the discoverers of the empty tomb in the first place. Women were on a very low rung of the social ladder in first-century Palestine. There are old rabbinical sayings that said,'Let the words of Law be burned rather than delivered to women' and 'blessed is he whose children are male, but woe to him whose children are female.' Women's testimony was regarded as so worthless that they weren't even allowed to serve as legal witnesses in a Jewish court of Law. In light of this, it's absolutely remarkable that the chief witnesses to the empty tomb are these women... Any later legendary account would have certainly portrayed male disciples as discovering the tomb -- Peter or John, for example. The fact that women are the first witnesses to the empty tomb is most plausibly explained by the reality that -- like it or not -- they were the discoverers of the empty tomb! This shows that the Gospel writers faithfully recorded what happened, even if it was embarrassing. This bespeaks the historicity of this tradition rather than its legendary status.

That's actually all I commented on at first, you're the one who added to it.
You were the one who attempted to insult, I only asked an innocent question.
Your addiction to conflict showed when you made that attempt at an insult.
If you would care to look up the painting that is my icon, painted by Francis Bacon, you would get it.
Now I'm not yet saying you won't, but I doubt you'll look it up or even get the connection.
All you've ever done here is stalk Christians to ridicule them.
You are far from innocent and nobody cares who painted that hideous avatar of yours.
